We were coming back from the ice races and I needed a quick bite of food so I quickly ordered from here, not knowing that we were about to have an incredible experience! I walked into his cute little restaurant and was instantly regretting the fact that I ordered it to go. I ordered three different sushi rolls. California roll, they’re lucky roll, and a tiger roll. They were so incredibly fresh with the best ginger and very clearly homemade wasabi. And when I say clearly homemade wasabi, that is the biggest compliment. My husband could not stop saying how amazing the wasabi was and how it was the best wasabi he’s ever had. We will definitely be back again to dine in and experience this hidden gem for everything it has to offer.

We visited Lemongrass this past weekend while on vacation and unfortunately, left feeling somewhat disappointed, so we’re giving it three stars
One of the first issues was the lack of any visible signage indicating that the restaurant was open. When we arrived, the parking lot was completely empty except for one small SUV parked far to the right. We called the restaurant to confirm they were open, and a gentleman answered to assure us they were open. Upon entering, we were greeted by what we assume was the same gentleman due to his distinct accent. The restaurant itself was completely empty. They made us wait 8 minutes in the waiting area while they prepared the table that seemed to be already set. Once seated, we received menus and were informed about their specials. We spent about 15 minutes, trying to decide what to get. During this time, the waiter had come over at least five times asking us if we were ready to order. We felt very rushed. The menu was quite limited, but featured a bento box section which was under a section labeled that it is only served until 3 PM daily. Since we arrived at 3:30, we asked if we were still able to order a bento box. The gentleman kindly told us we could still order the bento boxes for an extra $5, making them $24 instead of the usual $19. Three out of our party of five decided to order the bento boxes. While the food looked appealing, the portions were surprisingly small—barely enough to satisfy, especially considering the price. We all left feeling hungry and ended up going elsewhere to find more food. We are all skinny and do not take a lot to fill us but we were still hungry. Given the total bill of around $120 (excluding tip), it was a bit disappointing leaving.
I’ve included some photos for reference. Overall, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet, but the limited menu, small portions, feeling rushed and lack of signage made for a less satisfying experience than we hoped for

This restaurant turned out to be a nice surprise, the food was excellent, and the service was also very good. The kitchen even made my order of fried calamari with extra tentacles, which I appreciated. The sauce for the fried calamari was a bit unusual; as I’m not sure I would’ve put horseradish into a sauce for seafood. 10/10

I’m not usually a regular at Thai restaurants, but I was drawn in when I saw they also offer sushi. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, and everything we got was delicious. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall, a great experience

Halibut special is worth a try. The receptionist lady is very nice on welcoming guests, when not peak time, she ran to help co-workers, it’s really good to see. I love the decorations that you can see the kitchen when eating 🙂 especially the chilly pot, it’s cool idea. The owner is really friendly to greet customers after she finished her work in the kitchen, I love her smile. The waitress is really helpful keep checking us on the food and drink, thank you for all.

The service and atmosphere were good as we were there mid afternoon. We had such high hopes but $32+ for a small portion of tasteless entree is too expensive and very disappointing. The halibut was overcooked and flavorless. It came with rice and veggies, and all bland. The short ribs were over boiled, lacking structure and flavor. They should have sealed in the juices. The sushi rolls also lacked flavor and they were pathetically small, more fitting as a small appetizer. The only decent dish was the shitake spring roll appetizer, but do bring microscopes to find the shitakes. We were all disappointed, but did enjoy the relaxing space and good service.

The staff were awesome providing a good service, the food was well presented with large portions, however lacked the authentic taste you’d normally find from a traditional Thai restaurant.

Our server was awesome, and the food was delicious. The only thing was that alot of the food we requested were not available. We took it was supplies crunch during these difficult times, wish the food was a little more sizable. But 30+ dollar dish should not be 4 shrimps and 2 scallop dish haha

Best Asian food in the entire lakes region!!! The comment about portions size being small is way off base! The Tiger beef is amazing!!! We have dined there easily more than 50 times over the years, always had great meals and excellent service!!! A wonderful place, run by some extremely hardworking and nice folks!!
You gotta go, it’s with the ride!
