Dine in person and get a whole trout! Get out of your house, sit at a table, and look a crispy fried fish straight in the eye. Peel off its flanks, nibble its crispy skin, pull out the bones, and enjoy its succulent flesh! Very nice restaurant. Kick the take out habit and get in here

I dine here often and usually have a great experience, which makes this even more disappointing. This time, I ordered my usual meal to go and received nearly half the portion I’m normally served when dining in. For a $25+ plate, I expect the same generous serving whether I’m sitting at a table or taking it home.
When I called to ask about it, I was told the portions hadn’t changed. However, the food was packed in the same smaller containers they typically give customers for leftovers. I regularly eat half my meal at the restaurant and take the rest home for the next day — so I’m very familiar with what a full portion looks like.
Consistency matters, especially at this price point. I just want the same value and experience to go as I get when dining in.

Had a family dinner here and it did not disappoint. All the flavors and spices that I was looking for is on point. Thai fried rice is flavorful yet not greasy. Beef is tender with excellent texture and taste. The ambiance of the restaurant is super neat, almost the same as you can find in a hotel. Staff are attentive with friendly service. There is also an ample parking area. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

I ordered a red chicken curry. The dish came out with 0.001 percent chicken and the rest cheap ingredients. The flavor was really good. I’ve noticed that a lot of Asian restaurants don’t give you enough protein these days. Chicken can’t be that expensive!

Something has changed. My vegetables looked like they had gone bad before they were cooked. Cabbage was a weird color and very wilted. Food was bland – like they forgot to add any seasoning. We marked it up at the time to them being busy. Barely ate half the food and didn’t bring leftovers home. However this morning we all feel sick. Not 100% sure it’s related, but we can’t figure out what else it could be. Don’t think we will go back.

Lemongrass has a beautiful interior that’s super clean and comes with great and friendly service. However, I wasn’t too impressed by the two dishes I tried. The peanut “prawns” were ok, but were almost certainly regular shrimp and not actually prawns. Taste and appearance was definitely more of a regular shrimp, but the sauce wasn’t bad. And the beef Pad Thai was remarkably average at best – it was a good spice level but had a thick film of oil it seemed like. The dish was super saturated in what I believe was a thick pile of vegetable oil. Usually Pad Thai isn’t so thickly coated throughout in cooking oil. I took a pic for the review to show what it looked like gathering in the corner of the plate.

Consistency is the key. Lemongrass doesn’t let you down. What appears to be an older building from the outside is a hidden gem filled with amazing food.

I’ve been to Tumwater and Lacey locations and their food is consistent between both sites.

Today I went with my family and a friend. We ordered Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Thai Fried rice, and egg rolls.

The egg rolls were a perfect appetizer to start with. Cook to perfection, the crisp was amazing. They were served with a tasty sauce for dipping.

The curry was served with white rice, and is the best curry I’ve ever tasted. Perfect flavoring.

Pad Thai was also a very good dish, it does have nuts but it complimented the flavor perfectly.

Lastly, the Thai Fried rice we ordered with beef and was to die for!
