I visited Lemongrass by Sip Sam Thai last week and had a pleasant dining experience overall, especially in terms of food freshness and service. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was not very crowded, which made the experience calm and comfortable .
I started with the Veg Gyoza, which was decent. It was well-cooked and enjoyable, though not particularly standout . Ask for their In house hot sauce. The highlight of my visit was the Yellow Curry. I chose a spice level of 7 out 10 which felt medium to my Indian spice-level palate ️. The curry tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced, and I truly loved it. It’s a dish I would definitely order again.
For dessert, I tried the Roti dessert. The roti itself was very thin, and the amount of condensed milk added was quite minimal. As someone with a preference for sweeter desserts (especially with Indian taste expectations), it felt less sweet than expected . In hindsight, I probably should have asked for it to be extra sweet, but since it was my first time ordering, I didn’t realize it would be that mild.
Service was quick and efficient, with food arriving within 10–15 minutes, which was impressive ⏱️.
Pros:
✅ Fresh and flavorful yellow curry
✅ Fast service
✅ Calm ambiance on weekdays
Cons:
❌ Dessert was not sweet enough
Overall, a good spot for fresh Thai food with room for small improvements

This was my second visit to this Thai restaurant, and it continues to be one of the better Thai spots in town. I really enjoy their yellow curry with chicken, especially when ordered spicy. We also tried the vegetable gyoza , which were good and even better when paired with chili or hot sauce (you can request it on the side).
This time, we decided to end the meal with dessert and tried the roti. It was good overall, but it would have been better with a bit more condensed milk. While it’s a nice dessert option, it did feel slightly pricey for what you get.

First time eating here, the food was fantastic. I had the pork skewers, green papays shrimp salad and mango sticky rice for dessert. More tgan I could eat at one sitting so went home with tasty leftovers. 10/10 would highly recommend their food. Great, friendly service and delicious fresh ingredients. I will definitely be returning soon.

Lemongrass is an excellent Thai restaurant in Cedar Park. It’s not my favorite Thai place in the Austin area, but it’s near the top of the wet. Their lunch specials are good and the Thai tea here is excellent. The Tom kha is also good, although I wish it had come with a little bit of chili oil for some spice. This is well worth a visit if you like Thai.

One of the top listed Asian restaurants in Austin area for food and service , they were able to adjust the spice level for each item and it was perfectly blended to the taste and flavors. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Little expressive for fried rices , but worth it.

Overall the staff were friendly and food was decent but the price for lunch was steep .

I paid $17.30 in total with tax with lunch starting at $15 and some change . The regular pricing is $17 and some change .

I did get a small salad and 1 veggie dumplings but I found that the pricing was very high for lunch and with a $2 price difference. Will not be returning back for lunch anytime soon.

Went there for dinner.
All the dishes were very flavored but I would say most of them were too salty. I would give it 4 stars for the food as it’s not bad but not awesome, just mid.

The fish dish was really tasty. The tomyum chicken was a little bit salty for my taste. Nice fresh flowers on each table. Only have 2 ladies waited all tables. So may be that was why the 2 waitresses were not look happy. They look upset hahaha…. well, we will come back, hope in a good day and see they happy.

We regularly get take out from this place and finally went in for dine in. We enjoyed our visit. The service was great and the food was delicious. The Thai Tea is huge. The dishes are unique. We had egg rolls as an appetizer, and while I am not usually a fan of egg rolls, I enjoyed these. Many of the dishes came with carrots cut to look like a flower. We enjoyed our experience. The only warning I might give is that many of the seats do not have backs, so if you have back problems, just be aware.
