An excellent break from all the fried American food in the area. Everyone enjoyed their food. No leftovers. It was street parking, popular with the locals and tourists alike, off the main business street, clean restrooms and attentive service.

Lemongrass is a beautiful restaurant with a refreshing Asian fusion menu. Our server was kind and helpful. The crispy chicken potstickers, chicken satay and shrimp skewers were delicious. We topped our meal off with chocolate cake with hot fudge sauce. It was all so good! Bonus we came during live music and that was enjoyable as well.

This was an amazing place to enjoy good food in a great atmosphere. To start our waitress Madison was great and was very attentive towards our table. Sitting outside was a nice environment, and I will definitely be back whenever they have live music next. For the food, I ordered the brisket sandwich and the meat was perfectly cooked and juicy and had a nice touch from the Applewood smoked bacon. The drink menu was a little limited but they had a solid selection on tap. The food arrived hot and fast, and I have no complaints about this place. Overall, I would recommend for anyone looking for a restaurant with a wide selection of food types to enjoy while sitting in a nice atmosphere with great staff!

Pulled up the website and saw good reviews. Menu looked interesting. Thought we’d give it a try since we are visiting the area.

Greeted by a lovely young lady. Seated inside by the bar.
Our server was definitely new and not very knowledgeable but made up for it with his polite attention to us.
Looked over drink menu. Ordered lemongrass martini and double bourbon, neat. New liquor license? New bartender staff? Utter confusion at the bar
Owner (as we guessed with his discussing business with bar patrons) instructed bartenders what to do. Description of martini on menu didn’t match what was served. Overall I felt like I drank straight vodka with a slice of lemon floating on top.

I ordered the chicken satay skewers, husband ordered the Jakarta fried chicken. Dishes came out. My dish description said it came with a vegetable. There was a red pepper ring on top of my rice which was lukewarm. It didn’t match what I assume may have been a stock photo of dish. Also said grilled which there were no char marks. Just chicken thigh meat with the peanut sauce. Lukewarm and nothing to write home about.
Now my husband’s dish. This was interesting. It looked so unappetizing. He pulled apart a piece, put it in his mouth and immediately spit it out. It was so dry and inedible. Expressed feelings to server. Owner came over and said other patrons enjoy the dish. It’s boiled and fried. (Yikes)Okay. No apologies. No offer “to make it right” other than telling server to take it off bill. Not a really hospitable way of handling an issue with your product. Honestly if he would have eaten it himself, maybe he would have realized how bad it was.
End note, Owner should take tips regarding hospitality behavior from his son , one of the servers. He made a point to send us off with a fond farewell . Owner saw us go to our car and completely ignored us.

**Attached is picture of husband’s dish. Second pic is his pulling apart the terrible piece of chicken that was incredibly dry.

The food was amazing! Every bite felt like real food, not processed or artificial. Everything tasted fresh. I left feeling satisfied but not heavy, which is exactly what I look for in a great meal. Highly recommend to anyone who loves flavorful and well-prepared dishes!

This was one of my favorite places we ate at in Hill City. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The portion sizes were perfect – highly recommend the chicken curry. We split the chocolate cake – it was an huge slice! Our server was kind and efficient. The live music was a plus.

A culinary must when you visit Hill City. A great Asian fusion menu that delivers delicious small plate and main menu options. A good selection of craft cocktails as well. Good atmosphere and a talented wait staff.

Yummy food, nice area to sit outside. The portions on the entrees could have been more generous, but that’s my only complaint.

LemonGrass Bar & Kitchen is a beautifully peaceful spot for delicious food. They have tons of outdoor seating on two separate patios and a small inside area around the bar. The backyard patio has a turf grass area with a stage for live music (I would love to have a cocktail and food while listening to a local band). The food was just right with good amounts of flavor and perfect portions. The service was spectacular as well. I highly recommend coming to LemonGrass for a meal and drink.

This place is amazing! We got almost everything on menu (we had a shrimp allergy so those were really the only ones we didn’t have). Service was impeccable and the food was one of the best in the hills. They have beer/liquor. Great outdoor patio and a nice area that will be open soon that has a stage for music. Food came quickly and hot. Highly recommend!!
