We are from out of town but had an errand In Brownwood so decided to try out Lemongrass for lunch. The service was great; friendly and welcoming. The building itself was pretty warm but they suggested we sit closer to the split air unit which helped. We all had 1/2 sweet tea which was very generous portion served in a large plastic container. Appetizers were the original egg roll (a little too oily) but overall fine and then a steak Philly cheese egg roll (very gooey texture) maybe just not a personal preference. Mains ordered; veggie stir fry (abundant fresh veggies) chicken pineapple (liked by the person that ordered), Lemongrass beef (thin steak was tender, heads up they use jalapeños???, the lemongrass stringy) and then a side from the Cambodian noodles average.
This is more a of an Asian fusion then authentic. All the dishes were a bit oily.
I am use to mom and pop type of restaurants and love to support local businesses. However, his place does need a good cleaning. Tables were sticky and in general a bit neglected. This place is probably more suited to grabbing a dish to go. It was all a bit pricey.

I absolutely love lemongrass Asian cuisine and Brownwood. Yeah their prices are pretty fair. But still their food is flipping good. They sell rice balls here. Ask for what days they sell their rice balls. Because the rice balls aren’t sold in store every day; only on a specific day. The rice balls are delicious. They sell popping and boba tea here. They sell other drinks here like coconut water Red Bull, other moochi, ramen, chopsticks, and other goodies like shirts. And other goodies. Fun place to go Love it even the kids go crazy for it. Might be a place for anime lovers. Their restaurant is also very zen like which can be like a very peaceful environment. For dine in and take out. Open during lunch and dinner. The store is never open during the morning.

This is one of our favorites when traveling through Brownwood! The food is delicious. It’s always clean in the restaurant. There is even a large lot across the street for our travel trailer. If you want authentic, amazing. Cambodian food give them a try. The flavors are amazing!

This is the quaintest hidden gem in Brownwood. Not a flashy outside but quiet and peaceful once you enter. Beautiful wooden floors accent this mix of country western flavored Asian cuisine. The owners actually work this store so everything is on point. Perfect if you are in school and need a place to hide out and hit the books or just in need of solitude and some me time.
I give them a 5 because the counters as well as the floors were nice and clean,they waited on us in a minute and the drinks came promptly.
We were greeted by the owner who made us feel so welcome. This place is situated on a corner on Coggin street. Parking in front and on the side. So come on out and let Pia and Solpak serve you their special of the day.

My daughter went in about 30 minutes before closing. The lady working the counter was very sweet and accommodating. They have a large menu with a good variety of choices and they also have boba tea which my daughter really enjoyed. I had chicken chow mein the vegetables in the chicken chow mein were fresh and crispy and overall the dish had very good flavor my daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken she said she enjoyed it very much and it was the best fried rice in town. The place is very clean very well lit and the staff is super friendly and attentive. This was my first time eating there I will definitely be back I enjoyed my experience

This place is honestly the best place in town to eat. I would recommend lemongrass ten times to anyone who asks. Their food was great, they make everything there, and they’re super friendly. I’m usually a very picky eater yet everything we got from there was perfect. They’re not expensive at all. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat with your family lemongrass is the place to go

Pretty good place! I ordered the Cambodian Noodle Soup. I ordered the large and it was huge! The portion size was incredible and at a good price. It was a good meal and I had a lot of leftovers. They have boba teas which are a favorite among many. Next time I will look to try that. Service is nice and the employees are friendly. I will definitely come back again. The downsides to this place is the decor and atmosphere. It is lacking. Still a good place to eat though.

Everything on the menu is delicious! You can get a spice level added to any dish for us spice lovers. Lv1 jalapeño, Lv2 chiles, and Lv3 habanero! Their egg rolls, lemongrass chicken, and Hawaiian fried rice are all excellent, and they have a great selection of boba tea drinks too! (You can also buy sriracha sauce here!)
