Tasty Mediterranean spot with generous portions. Came here for lunch with my dad and we both ordered kebabs (veggie for me, lamb for him) and had a side of plump, juicy shrimp. Our waitress was nice and the food came out fairly quickly. There is a TV behind the bar that was showing a sports game. Parking was free and easy. There is outdoor, indoor booth, and counter seating. It has a casual, family-friendly ambiance.

We were wandering aimlessly and came across this quaint little restaurant. The atmosphere of the place is amazing. It wasn’t busy when we went. We were immediately seated. The wait staff is overly friendly and helpful.
We ordered the beef combo, a salad, and a shrimp kabob. The portions were super large. The beef was tender but a bit too salty. The shrimps were lightly seasoned and tender. The we had the house side salad and ordered a full Greek salad. The vegetable mix was the same. The only difference between the Greek and garden salad was the Greek salad had olives and feta cheese. The salads were fresh

Grabbed lunch here with two of my friends. We love Mediterranean food. It was such a great place. We started with Greek French fries (so yummy) I ordered a chicken Gyro, my friends ordered a shrimp Gyro and chicken kabob plate. They both loved it! The water was delicious too. It was placed in a glass container with fresh Rosemary!
Service was great and the ambiance was lively and clean. Highly recommend it!

Outstanding!!! Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve tasted in quite some time. The chicken was extremely flavorful and seasoned well. It was moist and not dry unlike others I’ve had in the past. The rice was cooked perfectly, and and topped with a pinch of saffron giving it a rich yellowish color. The salad was fresh and tasted great. Although,the establishment is rather small in nature, the dining area was clean and well kept as were the tables. There is an small outside eating area offered as another option. The staff was very personable, friendly and welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Our server was very attentive to our needs throughout our entire meal. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for a Mediterranean dish.

A great new option in town. It can be hard to find a good place to eat healthier alternatives and Lemon Zest is definitely a great option. The staff is super kind and the place is always very clean. I do think this is a new location and feel like the owners should invest a little more time getting the staff up to speed. As mentioned they are extremely courteous and prompt but lack consistency. I think with a little help the service could be exceptional, the outdoor area could be great, and it could be a really fun place to attend on a regular basis.

Got a notice for a hot and new place near me. I have been craving Mediterranean food so it was a win-win situation. I ordered the beef lule lunch special. Two beef lule over Greek salad and two mezze, I chose hummus and baba ghanoush. The beef lule was flavorful and paired perfectly with the Greek salad. The hummus and baba ghanoush were creamy and decadent. The server said it does not come with pita bread so I ordered a side of it. They came out fresh and warmed up. The baklava was good and the lemon bar was ok. A little on the pricier side and service was kind of slow but they just opened fairly new in the neighborhood. There’s street parking and more in the back with outside seating too. They have a bar but from what I heard the beer tap was not functional yet. The holiday decor inside was tasteful not garish. Restrooms are gender neutral and clean.

Ok… I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars in the optimistic hope that the small things improve .
The food was very very good..the flavors were some of the best I’ve tasted.
The staff were super friendly and professional.
The rice was fluffy and very tasty.
The humus was incredible.
And it’s a nice cozy place.
Ok… things I’d change tomorrow if I had my way.
Make it a sit down service.. the idea of having a greeter at the front and then having to go to the back to order is not a good idea. The place is too small for that and when you guys start to get really busy… and you will .. this will be a major inconvenience, and a major bottle neck area.
Serve side plates when customers share a 2 combo meal.
Rule number 1 of every restaurant, ALWAYS offer alcohol… ALWAYS.
Move the trash can and the take out containers away from customers line of sight.
Get rid of the 3.5% CC fee. Incorporate it in your menu if you wish.. but stop making it a public display… physical money is dying out… this will put some people off.
Now, they are still in a soft open state, so this might all be temporary.
Things I wouldn’t change… the food. The staff…perfect.
This has already become my favourite place in Azusa to eat… solely because of flavours and Staff.

THE BEST TASTING MEDITERRANEAN FOOD IN AZUSA! HANDS-DOWN! Great portion plates enough to feed two people, but of course I don’t share because the quality and taste was absolutely amazingly good! Beautiful bar, great table service, delicious drinks, and tasty espresso shot too! Clean and friendly service! I do really recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to dine-in and enjoy GOOD quality Mediterranean food! Thank you Lemón Zëst for the best dine-in experience! We will be coming back soon! My first time visit: The design and ambiance is classy, it’s definitely a more upscale feel (for this small city). The prices are a bit high, but the food is delicious and the plate portion is large, so I feel that it balances out. I got the lamb kabob plate. The rice and Greek salad were excellent, and the lamb was tender! I was quite pleased that the meat was tender. I also got the pecan bars for dessert, which were so moist and perfect. I’m pleased with this spot and will definitely visit more.

My family and I love Lemon Zest, we have been wanting to go since they opened and finally went this past Friday! The service and food here is amazing and they recently brought hooka too! We ordered a bottle of red wine, the appetizer platter, pomegranate hot sauce ( which they make ), truffle fries, and baba baba ghanous to start which were all so fresh and tasty. For dinner we order thé chipotle wrap and thé super combo which included chicken and beef luleh and beef kabob, which were all so tender and juicy as well. They I highly recommend this gem and will definitely have them cater our upcoming party! Keep up the great work!
