From the nice background music to the service and the food, this place is a little hidden gem in downtown silver spring ✨️ if you want to take your lunch break and really feel like a break, go here. They serve the food in a colorful ceramic plate, and the people are sweet and helpful. The food? So good. I had the tuna melt and also the cobb salad with the avocado vinaigrette . They were both delicious and fresh. Made in front of you!

UPDATE: Lemon Slice now offers dedicated vegan options marked by a green “V” on the menu! Even the sauces are vegan friendly, like the pesto and lemon dressing. I loved my tofu scramble wrap with mushrooms. And the tofu lunch wrap with cabbage was outstanding. The quality of the food is evident, from homemade sauces to crisp veggies. The owner, Beth, is a ray of sunshine who will work with you to find an option you enjoy. We loved it and will be back!

Great place! I stopped here on a whim with my Dad and sister. We got the breakfast sandwiches and omelette, respectively. Everyone working there was very welcoming and nice, and the food was so good! Would recommend trying the homemade hot sauces

Lemon Slice was everything I didnt know I needed. We had sandwiches (kitfo and awaze tibs, both on cibatta), home fries, a coffee cake muffin and some very refreshing in-house made ginger and turmeric lemonade (sweet/unsweetened options). I was having a rough morning and this lovely cafe + owner filled our stomachs with delicious food and lifted my spirits with fantastic conversation. It was SO good that I ordered one more sandwich to go. Not sure when, but we’ll definitely be going back.

Excellent sandwiches! They forgot to put one sandwich in the bag. They made another sandwich with salmon instead of tofu. Check your order before leaving. But what we received was very very tasty! 5 stars for the food. I would go back every day if I could!
