And getting dessert at this restaurant is a MUST! Both the Lost Slipper and the Chocolate Can Can were delicious (the Lost Slipper was my favorite)
The desserts never ever disappoint!!
Everything we tried was amazing. You can tell the ingredients and presentation are high quality, and the flavors were bold and fresh. Since it’s normally a pricier, upscale spot, Restaurant Week was the perfect time to try it without breaking the bank.
I’d absolutely come back for the full experience on a quieter night!
We went on a Saturday night (again, during Dining Week), so the restaurant was completely full, and the entire service staff was constantly busy. In spite of that, our waters were constantly refilled throughout the night, and our food came out in a very timely fashion – we never felt like the meal was lasting too long. When we finished our meal, our waitress even let us know that we were more than welcome to hang out at our table to watch the end of the Syracuse basketball game, which while we didn’t take her up on it, spoke to the hospitality of the staff. My only (minor) complaint was that it was rather loud in the first dining area, but that’s too be expected on a busy Saturday night in the room that includes the bar seating.
The food, as always, was outstanding. Each dish had an impressive depth and nuance of flavor that made each bite exciting. The highlight for us was the Green Curry Beef – the cinnamon basil and Thai chili curry sauce was to die for, with a perfect amount of heat so as to not overpower and take away from the intended flavor itself. Lastly, a pro-tip: do NOT skip out on dessert here. Every option is hand-crafted into a beautiful presentation, and the flavors themselves live up to their appearance. Kudos to the pastry chef for continuing to do a great job.
