A special little gem hidden away. Almost feel guilty giving up the secret, but it is that good. This place in the top three Delis in the Wyoming valley. The food is made with love, the service is excellent, great atmosphere. I believe family owned as well. Not too far off the cross valley, stop and try it you’ll love it. Repeat customer as much as possible.

Yesterday, I order the Chipotle Turkey Flatbread as a takeout item for lunch, came back to my desk and found a large black hair in my food (photo provided).

I called the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone immediately became defensive, unprofessional and raised her voice cursing in her dining room in front of her customers.

About a year and a half ago, I ordered the same item as a takeout and found a dead fly in my food. I reminded her today of that call and the defensiveness continued and escalated with more unprofessional word choices.

As the daughter and granddaughter of entrepreneurs and small business owners, I am constantly trying to support local businesses. My support of this restaurant will no longer continue. If I am able to find the photo with the fly in my sandwich from last year, I will post again.

Be cautious of insects and hair in your sandwiches, defensiveness and unprofessional word choice at this establishment.

This is a cute little cafe on a beautiful street, tucked away in a very nicely-kept neighborhood. The food was unique and delicious (especially the lemon velvet cake)!

The Lemon Drop Cafe is a wonderful place to visit! The food is really tasty, and they have so many different things to choose from. The sandwiches are fresh, and the desserts are super yummy. The people who work there are very nice and always ready to help. The cafe is clean and cozy, making it a great place to relax. Whether you go with friends or family, you will have a great time. I highly recommend the Lemon Drop Cafe for a fun and delicious experience!

“Where Troubles melt like Lemon Drops,” as it states on the wall.

The small café is a little difficult on the parking side and there aren’t many seats so it’s not the best on a busy day. That being said, the interior is quaint, albeit chilly, so bring a jacket or a sweater.

If you can overcome those obstacles, then your taste buds are in for a real treat. The tuna melt on Italian that I had was the perfect combo after the long hike we took this morning. I devoured the sandwich and the macaroni that came with it. Now, while that was mouthwatering good….it was not the best part!

Lemons remind us that even sour moments can turn into something sweet. The lemon cake that is sold here is exactly the lemon zest that one is looking for in life! It was sweet and yet light on the tongue.

In addition, we took home some lemon bars that added to our sweet treats. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Go treat your tongues!

I had the turkey and cheese panini. It was excellent. Bacon and Chipotle mayo. The panini was thin and not doughy. The side of macaroni salad was also very good, not too much mayo. I ate it all! It is very small indoor and seating was tight. Very nice decor.

We ordered lunch today from the Lemon Drop. Had the cod special with Manhattan clam chowder. Our first experience there. Picked up the meals in front of the shop. A sweet girl brought them out to us. The food was excellent! Actually more than we could eat. We will definitely order from there again!
