This was an amazing experience. They had a live violinist place and wonderful music. It made the atmosphere a very pleasant place. Really enjoyed the food as well. It was delicious. Vietnamese cuisine the mango sticky rice was great and they’re serving sizes were in line with their prices. I really appreciate their service. #yum #thevenuevilonist

This is a five star restaurant for sure! Don’t know why the ratings are low. The interior is spotless and beautifully decorated, service is prompt and thoughtful, and the food is tasty and authentic. A great place to stop before or after going to the imax next door. Check this cool place out!

Had dinner at Lele in Gig Harbor tonight and the food was delicious.
We shared a more than ample size appetizer, the Saigon Crepe and they accommodated the vegan option with well prepared tofu.
The vegan Swimming Angel, with perfectly grilled tofu, spinach with creamy curry coconut sauce was soooooo good – generous portion but I ate it all!
My friends ordered the Vietnamese salad bowl with prawns and The Thai Curry and they raved about their dishes!

Had to share this. We had a mishap with our pick-up order. However, the manager at Lele bent over backwards to more than make it right. We were so impressed. We are long-time fans of Lele and this just adds to the reason we love them! The food is so delicious! We will be back!

This was the first time in this restaurant.
As you enter you can already smell the delicious spice! The ambiance and lighting was soft and nice. It makes you feel quite comfortable!
The food was OMG!!! DELICIOUS! we decided right at the first bite that this would be our Vietnamese go to place. It is fresh and there is so much food, you will have left overs.
They also have a kid menu available.

This is the best place ever. They have a big menu. And the layout/ environment is excellent as well. They have an excellent selection local beer on tap. Even the big screen TV’s had a good taste/selection on what was being aired. Football, geography, and cooking. 5 stars for sure, will be returning.

When we walked in there wasn’t anyone at the host station so we waited as it says please wait to be seated. We waited for 8 minutes at the door area, they cannot see you walk in from where they’re hanging out so we walked into the bar area and were sat a couple minutes later. We were sat in an area that was secluded from everyone else- water took 15 mins to make it to our table, it took another 15 mins for the waitress to come back to our table.
The food was absolutely awful. The prices were way out of touch for what they were serving.
I ordered Bun Bo Hue soup- something I’ve ate a million and one times as it’s my favorite soup and I used to eat it 4-5 nights a week for 7-8 years when I was single. I have tried it at many different Vietnamese restaurants, so I’d say I am expertly rounded in the soup- I also grew close to the Vietnamese family that I used to see daily so I learned the science behind this soup and how the flavor profiles were supposed to show. After my bowl was brought to the table and she asked if I wanted chopsticks, she never came back! I waited 10 mins and ended up going to the bar area to ask for them so I could eat.
The broth is supposed to be deep in color and very rich with fatty beef flavor with a lot of oils and fats, known as nuoc beo (it’s known as the nectar of the gods for a reason). This broth was like dish water, it had thick rice noodles (as it should) that were the texture of over cooked spaghetti and were gummy. It had no Vietnamese ham which is a staple in this soup, no shrimp paste, no chili oil, and came with the wrong sides to add in for this specific soup. Charging $23 for this soup of that quality is a slap in the face to the soup, it deserves a much better representation.
The spring rolls were very mediocre and way over priced.
The curry my spouse had was decent but not traditional by any means.
$61 before a tip was a absolute waste of money.

Our waiter was great. He was so friendly and did a great job. The restaurant is beautiful and well-decorated. The food was good, but not great. It didn’t taste bad, it just wasn’t up to par with other Thai/Vietnamese restaurants. We ordered fried wontons for $12 and they were all wonton wraps and a pea size amount of filling (pictured below). The panang curry I ordered was okay the flavor wasn’t as bold as I am used to and the veggies tasted plain. We also ordered wonton and Asian BBQ noodle soup. It was also okay, the wontons in the soup were filled and better than the disappointing appetizer. It’s not a bad place to eat, just wasn’t as good as we were hoping.

I have been a regular customer ever since they opened. There’s been a steady decline in quality as of late. The last four times i’ve been there I have not been satisfied with the quality and Yesterday’s experience will be my last. I will not go back there. The lee special was served cold. It was arranged as if a child slapped it on the plate and all the items were cold, they didn’t even bother to microwave this dish before sending it out. A real shame to see this restaurant decline in quality.
