I stopped by this colorful spot because I had a craving for fish, and the vibrant exterior definitely caught my attention right away. It has a fun, welcoming look that makes you curious to see what’s inside.

The service was friendly and attentive. My server was polite and even addressed me by my last name after swiping my card, which added a personal touch that made the experience feel a bit more special.

I ordered the fried catfish, fried shrimp, and fried crawfish with fries—clearly, I came ready to enjoy a full seafood moment! The portions were generous, and I appreciated receiving a whole catfish fillet rather than a smaller cut piece. My personal preference would be for a slightly firmer fry and a bit more seasoning to bring out the full flavor. The fries were fresh and hot, though the taste was a bit different than I expected—possibly from being served immediately in the container while still very hot.

Overall, this is a bright, friendly spot with great service and generous portions. With a few small tweaks to match personal taste preferences, it has the potential to become a regular go-to. I’m glad I gave it a try and would definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself!

The place is nice and welcoming! The staff is friendly and provided amazing service! The food was exquisite! The oysters rockefeller with that cajun butter outstanding! The grilled octopus delicious and their fajitas were great! Can’t wait to go back to get the whole fried red snapper or their fried basket with catfish and shrimp! I will end up trying their whole menu!! Awesome experience!

Wow! This place was amazing, authentic Mexican food! Loved the vibe, the decor, the attention to customers, the food! They gave us complementary chips and a free margarita/beer (idk if this is because it’s new or we are new customers). I got the aguachiles, I like that it wasn’t super spicy! We also tried the enchiladas, all was 10/10.

Great hospitality

Most staff is bilingual in Spanish and English so that’s nice. I came here at lunch time and it was lovely. Great vibes and asthetic. Plus the outside seating has great shading.

Ordered a 6 pc shrimp basket with a mix of fries and onion rings. And I’m gonna say, the hush puppies were really good they had corn in them. Shrimp was something different than I’ve had it served to me before, it was good.

I wish they had battered fries instead of those steak fries. Fries didn’t have much seasoning and were bland so I don’t recommend that. I hope to try their soups soon.

Restroom is quite small so not very wheelchair friendly.

Overall great vibes.

Holy moly! Extraordinary food here. Do NOT expect fast food. Everything was cooked to order! Starting with fresh chips and warm salsa. I was able to only keep eating an entire bowl because our food was delivered. My husband ordered Pescado à la Parrilla (kampachi) and I ordered Langosta al Carbon. Both were grilled to perfection. Every side was perfect companion: pico was so fresh and a palate cleanser, avocado for creaminess, and grilled lemons was so juicy! Food was truly exquisite.

Unfortunately, our waitress was brand new. Our Cesar salad was served *after* we ate dinner. Then waving down our waitress to get our check was a fail cuz she didn’t look at us after delivering the salad. Other two waitresses tried to get her to help us, only to have one of them get our check.

We came to Lelas Seafood the new restaurant in Cedar Hill. 10✨⭐️⭐️
We started with the chips & salsa. Appetizer Rockefeller Oysters,- cooked good & there’s red sauce had me licking the oyster- shh.
I got the shrimp enchiladas with creamy sauce. Trailous got the Fried shrimp & (real) fish combo. Everything was good. The French fries are real potatoes. We will be back. Oh and we got a free margarita- which was also good.
We will definitely be back. Highly recommend Lela’s. Our server Billy was nice & attentive. Thanks Billy really good food – came with great service!

The atmosphere is really cute and welcoming. We sat on the patio. Only downside is that it’s very outside in the woods feeling – so there are bugs and flies. Hopefully that will go away some as it cools off. Service staff was attentive and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We enjoyed the Cameron ceviche – although the tostadas it came with were heavy and greasy. Would’ve been awesome with some plantain chips! Unfortunately our grilled redfish and kampachi were overcooked and dry. The flavor was good but it stayed on the grill too long. And it wasn’t served with tortillas even though it said that on the menu. We’ll go back but we won’t order that again. Salsa was good and warm. This place has tons of potential. I hope they do well!

I heard a lot about this place and decided to try it out.
Valet parking required, cost: tip.
Greeted upon entry.
Everyone was friendly
Small on the inside, but not to tight.
Very clean. Nice atmosphere.
Free chips and salsa, which were good.
They offered free margaritas, but I don’t drink.
Menu has a lot of options and affordable.
I had the Filete Al Carbon.
The fish was very blend (no season), but very tender. When I told the server she was nice enough to bring me a sauce to put on it, that she recommended.
The black beans and lime rice was good. However, I had to eat around sections of the rice that was hard.
The avocado was fresh, so was the corn tortillas., and the side tomatoe and red onions was good.
The sweet tea was also good.

The team at Lela’s welcomed us with such kindness and care, thoughtfully setting the perfect table to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday. From the moment we began exploring the menu, the experience felt adventurous—each description an invitation, each dish a delightful surprise. So captivating were the beautifully presented plates that we found ourselves savoring the moment rather than reaching for our cameras, capturing only a couple of photos. Every detail, from effortless parking to intimate seating, aligned seamlessly, creating a warm and memorable dining experience for our party of eight—one we will treasure long after the last bite.
