Ohoho we got the tea service and it was incredible!!!! My friend hosted a private event here. The staff was super amazing and sweet and were super conscious of our request. Leland himself came out to check in on all of us and made sure we all had an amazing time. The tea service was a great price, the food was great and im thinking of bringing my boyfriend here since he liked the hello kitty cafe, but i think this is a super pretty experience that actually rivals that tea service in so many aspects. Its a chill adult atmosphere, while still being gorgeous with high quality food and a genuine love of tea. Leland, if you get around to reading this, your kindness has made me want to be a returning customer

This quaint little tea shop is the perfect place to relax and unwind. They have a wonderfully shaded pavilion full of plants and unique tables. The service is wonderful and it was a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy tea. While the food menu is not expansive, the tea menu is quite extensive for green, black, white, and red teas. The menu is very reasonable compared to other places serving tea towers. We especially liked the shortbread and madeleines. I would definitely visit again.

I just met Will and Nora. They are definitely people you can be besties with. The shop has tons of blends to choose from and Will can definitely help you out if you don’t know what you’re looking for. This place is perfect for a solo cup, a brunch date or group. I will for sure be buying my tea here from now on.

[Got yelled at by this unprofessional old woman behind the register today]

Had good experiences here for the past couple of times. I’m a regular and I even recommended this place to friends. When I went in today (Sunday 2/1 2pm), the owner Will wasn’t there. An older woman in her 60s was at the register today. Never seen her before.

She made me wait by the register for 20 minutes, telling me she will “be with me shortly” and that she “just has to take care of a few reservations first”.

When it’s finally my turn, she took me to my table and said I’ll have to finish my tea and food “within 45 minutes”. I said I don’t want to feel rushed and would like to stay for at least an hour or two. She shook her head “well I told you there were a few reservations” in the most condescending tone ever. There were indoor bar seats that aren’t reserved she could’ve totally sat me there instead.

If I can’t even eat my food in peace for an hour why not let me know earlier and make me stand there for 20 minutes? I calmly told her I wish she would let me know about this 45 minute cap in the beginning instead of making me wait.

Then she proceeded to POINT THE EDGE OF THE MENU AT ME and yelled “I DID tell you I was gonna take care of the other reservations!!!” repeatedly and aggressively. Like what am I supposed to do with this information lol

She raised her voice and yelled at me in front of all the other customers when all I said was “I hope you could let me know about this 45 minute cap instead of making me wait”. She didn’t even let me finish my sentence she just straight up interrupted me and raised her voice at me repeating “I DID tell you I was gonna take care of the other reservations!” Over and over.

It’s honestly humiliating.

I forgot I was there as a paying customer for a second. I am in my 20s and was there alone, and she raised her voice at me like she was scolding a misbehaving student in elementary school.

I was so bewildered by her behavior I just froze. The actual owner and the other younger staff of this place are all super nice and friendly. I noticed she was very rude and was raising her voice to the other younger employee too.

I had great experiences here the past couple months. However, this experience alone makes me never want to go back again. I have never experienced this level of disrespect as a paying customer my entire life.

I love the food and tea here but the thought of having to see this lady makes me never want to visit again. It’s a shame that they hired someone so unprofessional, entitled, and mentally unstable.

I hope the owner would do something about this woman because she is destroying your business. The good vibes were what kept me coming back and this woman really ruined it single handedly.

Not quite sure what the hype behind this place here is but my wife and I were fairly disappointed. We were hoping for a nice tea and snack experience. The China is super simple it’s not anything special. The cookies and scones feel like they from Costco. The salad also was not anything special. Very plain. The only thing I enjoyed was the cucumber cheese spread and egg salad sandwich but these are dishes you can make well at home. If you are assuming to get a British tea shop experience, this is not the place.

Tucked away and somewhat exotic setting. One of very few places in the Peninsula where you can order high tea with sandwiches and scones. Everything was good. The chicken, tuna and egg salads are homemade. The service is very friendly. One less star because the cucumber sandwiches–usually a favorite of mine–were a little disappointing and the clotted cream wasn’t homemade.
