This spot is in kind of an industrial part of town, but don’t let that fool you. Lei Lei’s Bistro is a food truck serving up some awesome food. We got the hot pastrami sandwich, patty melt, and French dip. The French dip and patty melt were the standouts, super flavorful and something I’d 100% get again.
The hot pastrami was good too, but I do wish it had a bit more pastrami and a little less of the Russian slaw. Still tasty though, and they use Boar’s Head meats so everything is really good quality.
You get homemade chips or fries with the sandwiches, and both were solid, but the chips were the winner for me crispy and super flavorful.

I should have took a picture before I bit in but I couldn’t stop once I started. This was the tastiest French dip I’ve had, the it was so soft and cheesy! I ended up dipping the rest of my chips in the dip. The couple behind the counter were nice and the area was very clean. I’ll be back.

Just wrap your head around the fact the you have some tough decisions ahead because you want to try everything on the menu. From the burgers to the pastrami sandwich, everything I’ve tried has been the best I’ve ever eaten of that particular item. Can’t say enough about how absolutely amazing the food is here.

HIGHLY recommend Lei Lei’s as a food truck and for catering! We recently brought a group of 330 to Oahu and we used Lei Lei’s to make our 300+ sandwiches each day for 4 days! Everything they catered was very good- and good-sized portions. Their customer service was above and beyond. They replied to all communication quickly and were accommodating to several of our requests. They were also right on time with every delivery. We have found that many catering services underestimate how long it takes to prepare food for 300+ but DH knew exactly what that looks like. Leah and your staff…huge thank you for taking care of us! Driving in the area and happened to stop by to grab a sandwich for lunch. The hot pastrami melt was delicious and full of flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try the French Dip next time.
