Delicious! We get pasties every year when we come to the U.P. This was our first Lehto’s Pastie. We had the beef pasties for a picnic, one hour after purchase. The crust was perfect. Flaky, but not dry. The beef, potatoes, rutabaga were sliced thin, and each bite contained some of everything. We ordered gravy and ketchup, but neither were needed. So delicious. So flavorful. Addicting.

Some of the best Pasty’s in the UP! We usually stop at the original on 2 but it’s nice to have this location in town to swing in and grab a couple Pasty’s while in St. Ignace. Plus u can sit out front and enjoy the view while ya eat this upper peninsula trademark food.

Overall, Lehto’s was a good experience. The woman who helped me was kind and friendly. The pasty isn’t as good as what I had in Sault Ste Marie, but it was still satisfying. I think that both of the pasties and the gravy could’ve used more salt, but they were still good, especially after a long drive. The pumpkin chocolate chip cookie was excellent. I should’ve saved half for later, but it was so good that I ate the entire thing.

I grew up on these at our families bakery, and I have to say that their beef pasties by far exceeded my expectations! Absolutely amazing! I should have bought more, but luckily they will ship them. Thank you for the memories of my grandparent’s pasties!

Not as good as they were 25 yrs ago, but still good. Unlike today, their original recipe did not have shaved meat and shaved potatoes. Also, it was next to impossible to find a rutabaga anywhere in the pasty.

Our first experience with pasties. It was quite good, and big! The girl who waited on us was very nice, described them to us before serving us. Since it was close to closing time we took them outside to a picnic table. Great place and came highly recommended.

Had a Pastie for the first time, not sure I’ll need another one but it was good. We tried chicken and beef, both were moist and packed well, easy to eat with its crust, didn’t fall apart. Just need these in a dessert we’re golden. Cookie squares were soft and delish.

Used to be great pasties. Now instead of good crust turnover and pinched around the edge they look like a very thin crust that is just rolled around the ingredients reminding me of Subway. Over priced and charging extra for gravy. Will not go there again. Two thumbs down .

Yummmm!!!!! Always good pasties from here!!! I’ve tried pasties from most places in the southern U.P. and Lehtos is the BEST!!!!! Today I stopped in about 7:00 and they were out of gravy, but didn’t even need it with how moist and flavorful the pastie was!!
