These pasties were just so good. We ordered the beef pasties with gravy, hot and ready to go AND frozen pastries to take home. There are tables outside or a park a couple miles up the road to enjoy this classic UP delicacy!!!

Best Pasties I’ve had. Very well seasoned and crush is thin and even. During my visit – only beef available. Definitely will try other flavors if available.
Friendly service.
No inside seating but they have several picnic tables outside to enjoy those warm pasties.
Recommend this place if you catch them open.

Since we were in the UP of Michigan, we had to stop and try Pasties, a UP favorite. We had no idea what they were, but did find out the BEST Pasties come from Lehto’s, and they have 2 locations in St. Agnace. A wonderful and colorful small place on HWY 2 and the owner was super helpful. We ordered 2 with gravy, and sat outside at a small table to chow down. They were most excellent and the gravy to dip in made them so much better. Glad we stopped and make sure you stop by and try these Michigan Favorites.

It’s right off US 2 and very delicious. Take out only however, they did have outdoor picnic tables. There is a bridge view park less than a mile from there, we stopped and ate ours there. Great day.

Never heard of a Pasty until our road trip this spring. Researched Michigan’s known foods and that is one of the main things I saw. As we got to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I started seeing “Pasties” signs and had to stop. Ended up stopping at this one and it was a unique experience. Got a pasty with beef, onions and rutabaga. So good!! Might get me one shipped here in the south before long!

Delicious, if you don’t know what it is, then try it. Its beef and veg in a fabulous pastry like hime cooked pot pie in your hand. And the smoked white fish is great.

Stopped in to Lehto’s on route 2 during our trip to the UP. Tried one of their pasties and was not disappointed! Their pasties are awesome! Highly recommend them! The people inside are really nice too. Before we left to go home I picked up a couple pasties to go. Stop in a get a hot pasty, they’re awesome!

While returning from a motorcycle trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan I stopped for an early lunch at Lehto’s Pasties outside of St. Ignace. Served warm with a side of gravy, the beef pastie was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is no public restroom. Even a portapotty would be welcome. Definitely worth a stop for a tasty local cuisine.

They only have the one type of pasty at this location. I believe it’s beef with rutabaga. I remember I wasn’t a fan of the pasty but wanted to try one again. Just not my thing. Not very flavorful even with onion and potato in it. In my opinion it needs salt to jazz it up. Maybe ranch or the gravy would help too.
