One of my favorite places in the St. Louis area to get a sandwich. They have plenty of pick from, hot or cold, and they are always great. They use fresh ingredients and make them fresh as you order them. You can order online, or order at the counter expect to wait about 10 to 15 minutes because they do make them fresh.
It also doubles as a meatte market and grocery store. There are plenty of places to sit inside or outside to eat your meal. They close at 3 o’clock, so you have to go before then if you want to get something.
My recommendation is a legend sandwich, it has a little bit of a kick to it, but so good.

My son recommended we stop for a sandwich when I visited. I will definitely return. I had the Show Me Sub and a Frostie root beer.

Wow! LeGrand’s can make some seriously good sandwiches. We were unaware of this place until my cousin offered to take us here. We were busy with furniture delivery, so she got them to-go and took them over to our place.
The sandwiches were phenomenal! My Mom got the Chicken Salad Sandwich, which was out of this world. The Chicken Salad was sweet and juicy, and the bread was soft. I got the Rueben, which wasn’t AS good, but it was still pretty solid. Don’t forget to get some Billy Goat chips, they’re super crispy and salty!
We would get this place again, and again, and again. Kudos to my cousin for telling me about it!

Le Grand’s will always be my absolute favorite place for a sandwich. My go-to is the Elbirdo, which is spicy and full of flavor. They actually put so much on these sandwiches. This place isn’t only a place for subs, but they have a deli, dining area, and a small market. Love this place! If I could rate it more stars I would.

One of the better places to get a sandwich in town. They do a lot of traditional style Italian but do have quite a few different options and offer a wide variety to accommodate everyone. I recommend the Legend Club and I believe it is their most popular sandwich. Or stop in to get meats, cheeses, baked goods and plenty more!
Another spot that epitomizes the St Louis deli scene.

Le Grand’s is a contender for the best sandwich shop in St. Louis. I have been going to Le Grand’s my whole life and it’s always a reliable and tasty place to eat. They have great deli meat, a great little grocery shop inside with a great selection of drinks, good but expensive frozen pizza, and mostly friendly staff. I love the classic “legend club”. It is the BEST. The photos speak for themselves. Get it hot..
The reuben special was ok.
Rating: 4.7 out of 5.

Holy smokes what a sandwich! Tried out this local deli in St. Louis Hills for lunch. Got the spicy “The Legend” sandwich upon recommendation and it was phenomenal. The tuna salad was made fresh today and went great with the chips. This is will definitely be a staple for lunch and purchasing my local meats for dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very classic, old school atmosphere. Great meats and cheese. Many more lunches to be had here! Great prices too.

What a great local deli and shop.
I didn’t realize that this was just right around the corner from me and I’m disappointed that I’ve been missing out on it for the last 10 months that I’ve been here.
I got the tri-tip sandwich which was delicious!
It does not appear that they offer any gluten-free bread option. So if you are a gluten-free gal/pal this may not be your place.
There is a small lot to park in, but if it gets busy you might have to park on one of the streets next to it.
I will definitely be back!
