Leggio’s Pizza is the bomb! We ordered a medium The Works and it was outstanding. We have never had bad food here, only the best.

From Sal , the owner to the cooks and the wait staff are so nice and kind and cheerful. . They greet you like family. If you have any problems ,they quickly take care of it.
I can’t recommend this place enough. My husband and I have been going here for years,too long to remember. Leggio’s is our go to restaurant. Delicious food, awesome service and great atmosphere.

Tried calling for 40 minutes kept getting the busy signal which is fine I understand it can get busy. But then when I finally did get through i got put on “hold” where i can still hear EVERYTHING going on there. Sat on “hold” for 25 minutes listening to her actively take order and new call from another line. So i called from another number finally got through AGAIN and when I stated I have been on hold on the other line which i STILL WAS I was told they “dont have another line” as i heard her saying that on the other line that I was also on. This is ridiculous and seems completely incompetent.

We were staying in a local hotel and this was the closest restaurant. We got carryout. My wife said her spinach salad with grilled chicken was one of the best she’s had. She thought the bacon was amazing. My steak sandwich was excellent (and I serve them in my deli, their’s is better). The young man will took our phone order and them served it up was friendly and very professional. Prices are right top.

Most anyone could make a better lasagna at home. It did not look or taste like lasagna. Meatballs looked like meatballs. However, a better name would be blandballs. Sausage was actually ok. Perhaps the pizza is good and that explains the good reviews. Lasagna was very disappointing.

I stopped in after a rough day the man at the counter was very friendly and made me smile. My order was ready in 3 minutes and it was fantastic. Meatballs were delicious, pasta and sauce good .. but the garlic knots are the real show stopper. Soooooo good!

Sadly went there for a funeral reception, however, the food was exceptional and the owner (wish I got his name) was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Everyone loved the food and friendly staff. We will go back again and we’re from Connecticut! 5 Stars!

Leggios is my go to! Thankfully I work nearby so the travel is not far. Visit there often with colleagues from work, order to go for staff meetings, and then also my personal lunch or a quick pizza to take home for dinner. Always greeted by their fantastic staff, especially Alex, Sal, Sarah and of course Tina. Never disappointed!

I’m not sure what others’ expectations are, but this place is not what they’re saying. We were seated quickly, but the waitress was rude to start. We hadn’t been sitting for a minute -literally- before she came over and said, “Did you decide?” No introduction or greeting and it took me off guard. I got to stare at cleaning products throughout my meal and the food was just okay. In my opinion, the pizza sauce on the personal cheese pizza was way too sweet, and the chicken in the chicken Alfredo was dry. I will say the potato pancakes were awesome! Drinks were served in a can with a cup of ice on the side. The light above my table was flickering on and off. Not my idea of an enjoyable dinner. Y’all decide for yourselves.

If you are looking for a delicious Italian dinner consider somewhere else. Our waiter was more preoccupied with preparing for a dinner party than taking care of us. Things started great. A nice greeting, seated quickly, drinks came promptly, order taken and it went downhill from there. We watched ppl who came in after us getting their food before we even got our salad and soup. When our food was finally brought over we had to ask for the garlic knots and remind our waiter that we ordered 2 other items. Salad was basic, garlic knots were swimming in what I think was butter and had so much chopped garlic in the little bowl that you cld ward off half a dozen vampires(lol), sauce was good, sausage was good, meatball terribly bland, lasagna was an absolute mess, baked shells were nothing special. Our waiter did not check in with us after dropping off our entrees to see if everything was ok. He was apologetic but offered no remedy to the situation. We were extremely disappointed with the dismal service and mediocre food because we had heard good things.

For an Irish guy who seems to show up more in Italian restaurants than anywhere else, I’ve run across some great food and some not so great. Some wanna b’s try their best, some don’t wanna be’s get it almost right and I’m sure there’s an Irish guy or two who owns one. So, as we were heading back from the south (yes a snowbird} we stopped at Leggio’s in Wilkes-Barre PA and can say that adding them to the list of great Italian restaurants is not hard in this case, this isn’t a wanna be, but the real thing. Extensive menu, comfortable seating, fast service, great wait staff…Thanks Stacy :), of course the food I had was fabulous ( Seafood Fra Diavolo) my wife ( Veal Saltimbocca). Coffee and chit-chat made for a great evening! If your in the mood, your going to “wanna be” stopping in…
