Had a job in Alexandria but all the hotels were booked up so had to stay in marksville and happy to have found Legends steakhouse. It was amazing. My wife and I had The shrimp and chunk blue crab pasta just amazing. Gave our thanks to the chef. And great service too! If I’m in the area again definitely will come here. Highly recommend

Best place to dine in within a 45 mile radius from Alexandria. It’s a shame not open 7 days a week. Been going here when in town visiting family since they opened in the 90’s under another steakhouse name. Professional service, quiet atmosphere, excellent wine and the food is delicious. Thank you for always providing a memorable dining experience whether I’m with a group or dining alone. Make a reservation

Extremely disappointed in this place. The crawfish mac n cheese came out unappealing and it was horrible. Kraft makes better mac n cheese. The seafood pasta was horrible. The shrimp was gummy and the crab meat tasted old. The noodles was hard and stuck together and the sauce was extremely runny. Best part about the food was the bread. Server was the only descent thing about this place. Spend your money at roxeys or the steak and seafood restaurant down the road in marksville, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!

On 2.11.22 around 8 P.M. (with reservations), my date and I were greeted by a nice hostess and a GREAT WAITRESS!!!!!
Our waitress (Beautiful and Attentive black female with some braids–I forgot her name ) was so awesome!! 10/10 service with her
The crab cakes were delicious!
I ordered the seafood pasta. 2.5 rating. The seafood actually messed it up.
The baked potato was very yummy!!!
My dinner date ordered the steak–the steak was very tasty!
Overall, I enjoyed my time here.
No complaints from me other than an obnoxious man came to eat a filet mignon and he kept hollering “WHAT Y’ALL DOING BACK THERE?” and none of the men paid him any mind, but the waitresses seemed to know who he was, as well as, another casino staff member. Lol!
GET THE PRALINE NY CHEESECAKE FOR DESSERT!!!! VERY LIGHT CHEESECAKE–GREAT BLEND/VERY CREAMY!

This place was great! The waiter was really good until a large party came in. The food was excellent..from the bread to the wine to the entree! The atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing! We will definitely be back soon!

The atmosphere in Legends is great! Dim lighting, clean facilities, and the ambience is perfect for a nice, quiet dinner. This is the second time we have gone, several years apart, and we’re not impressed with the food either time. It’s a nice steakhouse so when I order a steak, I expect it to be cooked correctly. My husband and I both ordered the 7 oz filet. We purposely ordered it medium in case it was over-cooked and very thankful that we did because it was. Perhaps we are overly critical but both commented that we had better filets at Outback for way less money. We’ve tried it twice and were not satisfied with food for the price, either time so will not go back.

The atmosphere and waitress were great that’s where my positive statement ends. Ordered a couple appetizers and an entree to share. The lump crab cakes were OK, the fried green tomato were horrible they tasted like they were fried in old grease, we ordered the seafood pasta that was the worst bland pasta swimming in butter. I was so disappointed and we spoke with the manager who was so condescending, I mean there was no way it could be bad nobody says that and that’s a best seller. Ok, well that’s great, but it tastes like a pasta dish for a toddler. She was already rude she had a speech for all standing in the door waiting to get in something about reservation times. For the price they charge for food it should not come with such a negative attitude and such bland flavor. So disappointed.

Would not recommend this place at ALL. The host was very sweet, but besides that I don’t have much else good to say. The food was very bland. My fillet was very tough on the outside and over cooked. The asparagus (that we had to wait 10+ minutes for) was hard and nothing special. The sweet potato was fine, I wasn’t a big fan of the super sweet Carmel sauce but others at the table did enjoy it (so depends on your taste). I’m fine with high prices, if the food is worth it… but this place was definitely not. Absolutely loved Paragon Casio, but will never go back to this “steak” house. Food was terrible and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!

The place itself was very nice and gave the impression of a high class restaurant. Everything stops there though. The food was incredibly overpriced for its quality. A decent steak wasn’t under $30. We opted to share a couple appetizers. We had heard the shrimp Michael was very good, but again we were disappointed. The shrimp was incredibly dry even though it was wrapped in bacon. I felt like their go to ingredient was cheese, so everything was way overdone with too much cheese. We also ordered a seafood dip, which wasn’t bad but considering the huge layer of cheese on top we got very little dip and only 4 slices of stale bread to dip with. Considering this was all we ordered with two beverages, $80 was a steep price tag for a very sub par meal.

Service amazing, atmosphere amazing, food trash. Ordered the seafood pasta if you love the taste of butter oh boy you’re in for a treat. Got the creme brule. Needed more sugar to give a nice glass top. Drinks was good I’ll say that. The salmon was a pretty tasty piece of fish. I think the price doesn’t do the place justice. But I encourage you to go and try it out.
