My Mom and I have eaten at Legend’s 5 or 6 times now, so this review is based on multiple visits. Although we previously had so-so experiences, the food and service last night was wonderful! Our waitress (Andrea W) was the best We’ve had-she was very attentive and kind. The spinach dip is consistently good. I ordered chicken tenders (which were nicely breaded, crispy and tender), greenbeans and a baked potato. The green beans are not from a can! Very good. We also had a piece of cheesecake with raspberry drizzle. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited Murphy and wanted to grab some dinner since we were craving steak. We searched on Google for the best steak in Murphy, NC, and Legends Steakhouse came up — so we decided to give it a try.
I ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium well, with a fully loaded baked potato and yellow saffron rice. The service was good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The place itself felt outdated but spacious — kind of like visiting your grandparents’ house: plain and old-fashioned, but still warm and accommodating.
As for the food, the serving size was good, but the steak was tough — really tough. The rice tasted like instant rice from a pouch that you just microwave (trust me I’m asian ). The baked potato was good, and I really liked the sweet rolls.
However, when the bill came, I was shocked — it was pricey! We don’t mind paying for good food and service, but in this case, the steak quality didn’t match the cost. Overall, I’d rate the food 6 out of 10, and honestly, I’m not sure I’d recommend this restaurant to my friends or family.

We drove all the way from Elijay for a good steak. If you know the distance you know! Where do I start…the Bartender might need a few classes to really tap into her potential as everyone’s drink was pretty bad and we don’t EVER not finish our drinks. I ordered the the Cajun Seared Troup with Crawfish in a Beurre Blanc Sauce. I was so disappointed because the description was misleading. When the Manager made good on making the sauce a Beurre Blanc I was happier, but they do need to change this description as the sauce is the Chef makes does not fit. Gave them 3 stars instead of 2 as McKenna and the Manager rectified the situation for our party.

Recommend the chicken and waffles with a cup of coffee. Sweet potatoes on top didn’t taste good but the rest was delicious. Very nice inside but not as high end as we thought it would be.

Absolutely delicious steakhouse! My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, and my shrimp and grits were amazing. Everything was spot on. We will definitely be back! The server was great for us and went over and beyond with fantastic service.

Got there at 830 (they close at 9 so I realize that might be an inconvenience) salads came out with no dressing the steak I ordered came out almost completely rare with a searing on the outside and when I asked if we could have it cooked more or more dressing they explained the kitchen eas now closed at 9:02. Keep in mind they let us sit there till 845 before taking our order and at that point we were the only customers. While waiting for our food they started cleaning wiping down tables vacuuming and mopping all around us then the cherry on top was the staff at 9pm the second they “closed” set up dinner for themselves and proceeded to eat and use vulgar language as if we weren’t there. Dinner was over $100 so it’s not like this was a cheap little dinner. I will never go back to this place and I suggest you don’t either

This is our 2nd time visiting here in the last couple months and the 1st time, I thought it was okay, but the 2nd time i was very unimpressed. Our server had a ear piece in and couldnt hear us telling her specifics so our food or drink came to us wrong. The food wasnt very hot either. We were a party of 4. We got- spinach dip, potato soup, and eggrolls. The spinach dip was cold and the cheese was chunky, the green chips were soggy and stale tasting. The eggrolls were great, the potato soup had too much bacon, which i asked to have removed but she was more focused on her ear piece, the texture of the soup was also undesirable. Couldnt even finish it. For dinner we had mac cheese, grits and ribeye. The mac cheese was good grits were yummy and had good texture. The ribeye was horrible, it was so wet and the char tasted like old ash on the grill. Next is chicken and waffles, super good, no complaints. The chicken tenders had no flavor whatsoever. And the steak fries were potato wedges, which i feel is quite the difference. The dry age ribeye was tasty but again, wet and it was chewy. Baked potato was cooked well. We also had dessert- the apple pie and hummingbird cake. Both amazing. I would come back for those. But that’s about it.

Celebrated my birthday Eve dinner last night. Our server was patient and friendly. I ordered the special Espresso & Garlic Rub Prime Rib, and it was delicious, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. Our daughter ordered the Tuscan Pasta, which she really enjoyed, just full of flavors! The Grinch cocktail was so good! Ambiance was cozy, nicely decorated for Christmas. I would definitely come back to this restaurant!

Today I went to Legends for lunch with a friend. It was the first time I went back to Legends after a disappointing dining experience 4 years ago! Today, my opinion changed! Our server, Kait, made all the difference. She was efficient, our order was delivered in a timely manner, and she made sure the kitchen cooked my sweet potato fries as ordered without me having to send them back! Thank you, Kait, for changing my opinion on dining at Legends! By the way, the food was delicious too!
