Melinda, the owner, is genuinely unhinged. Legends COULD be a great hangout spot, but unfortunately, her terrible management ruins it. She also gives Stepford Wives energy whenever she speaks. It’s unsettling. The other owner, her husband Dan, is very nice but lets Melinda ruin it.
Luckily, they’re selling it, so maybe legends can be great after all. The new owners should probably change the name to not be associated with Melinda’s manic, insane rants on Facebook or the many stories of her extraordinarily bad personnel and customer relations skills.
As for the food, some of it is pretty good, some of it is pretty bad, most is mediocre. They’re the only pool hall in town, so that’s why they get business. The table rental prices are definitely reasonable, so that’s good. They could do a lot more weekly events, such as karaoke to make it more than JUST a pool hall though.
Also, I have heard from current and ex employees that she watches them on the cameras constantly, which is weird, but my jaw really dropped when they told me she listens to customers conversations. How inappropriate is that?! One employee told me that she was working one day, when Melinda called and said a certain table was going to ask for some special meal that wasn’t on the menu or something along those lines. And then Melinda told her that that she had to say no. I would NEVER go back to place that I knew was listening in on my conversations. I’ve never been back since…I literally have to go out of town to play pool. I let a lot of her craziness go, but I drew the line there.

Here during pool tournament. Bar is not busy. It takes an outrageously long time for any drinks to come to the table. Server put a tray of trash on our table and said “Is it okay if I leave this here for a moment?”
Why are they charging 7.50 for a can of redbull when I can go to the gas station and pay $3? Ordered a quesadillla and it is not bad, but overall service sucks.

We went to Legends today, and everything was fantastic! I had a Cosmo, and it was absolutely delicious — not too fruity with juice, just perfectly made. We also had wings, which were incredible, and the pizza was wonderful — the crust was definitely homemade. I would highly recommend this place! Melinda and Dan are amazing; they truly care about your experience and make you feel welcome.

Worth a visit. Had a burger and fries. Food was hot and tasted great. Nice variety of food on the menu. Something for most. Prices are reasonable.

Great atmosphere, yet I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the smashed burger, and I even got the double burger. When it arrived, it was the size of a kids meal. I sent it back. Then I got margaritas during happy hour, that they tried charging me double the price for. The service was okay, but I will never go back again with their child sized portions, and just giving the total on the check, so we can’t see how much $$ was charged per item. I will never go there again, ended up $pending $65 so my boyfriend could eat fish for dinner. I would rate 0 stars if it was an option. Only went because Marco’s was closed. Good option if you have kids and have a lot of money to waste
