My wife and I were in the area, and decided to go to Legends. We were not disappointed! The decor and service were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. Seriously, the brunch burger is the best burger my wife and I have had. We are about 2 hours away, and we will drive that distance again just to come and eat here.

Good food served with a side of history. From the back bar from 1852, to the ceiling from 1888, ttyl one off the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I’ve had in a long time, thirds bar and grill has it all. Friendly, efficient service, and cheap craft beer from Indiana breaks top it off. If you’re visiting Richmond from out of town, or a local, this place is worth heading to for a meal or a drink. Can’t go wetting either way.

If I am ever craving a burger, this is where I will go. Best burgers I have had. Everything we had was good though! Jack’s Pepper Cheese Balls had a nice kick to them, the fried pickles were excellent and the mozzarella sticks were good as well. I had the Brie Burger which was PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend. Their fries were great pub fries. The rest of my party had the grilled tenderloin and onion rings, the Holliday Burger and the Legends Burger. All were excellent. I’m glad we went early because it started to get busy and a little loud but that’s not really a complaint! It’s a bar and clearly people enjoy their atmosphere and food.

Only one bartender/waitress working, that day and time. And it was “busyish”, people around the bar. She didn’t see us come in. But after she saw us, she apologized for the delay in service. The food was very good and we will definitely be back for more.

I have eaten their food once before as a carry out at work, but this is the first time I ate in there. I ordered a Mega Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, and Diet Coke. They were delicious. I understand this is a historic bar, and I like the pictures on the wall.

Very, very good. The food is truly worth a visit. Locally owned and operated. Don’t pass up a chance to eat here. Also, the beer and wine selections are pretty good — something for every palate.

Best pizza and chicken wings in town. The wings are alway cooked long enough, never slimy and undercooked. Southside bar and grill is one of the few neighborhood nuggets left in this desolate town.
