Visited Legends Caribbean Shack last weekend and loved the food. The ambiance and decor in the restaurant was really great. Ordered the half chicken fried rice and chicken curry with dhal puri, both of which were excellent. Wait time was a little long, but understandable because there was only 1 server. We came from New York for the food here! 10/10 for sure! We ordered the shrimp wonton, pepper lamb and the house special fried rice with chicken. It did not disappoint, it was DELICIOUS & so satisfying! There was no wait & food came out quickly.

bought a chicken fried rice… food HARDLY has any RICE INSIDE OF IT, literally two scoops of rice and bunch of chicken.. like there wasn’t any rice inside. MIND YOU $21 FOR THAT. don’t get me wrong, the food was good, very tasty but the bowl was so small. yeah never again! Go somewhere that’s cheaper with more rice for the price!

Dined at Legends for lunch today and must say the food was very tasty and fresh – kudos to the chef. The pepper lamb and pineapple house fried rice was delish as well as the calamari. The restaurant has a welcoming and modern Caribbean ambiance with tunes playing in the background adding to the vibe. The hostess was very accommodating and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my request. I look forward to patronizing this restaurant again. Congratulations on your grand opening.

This place is such a joke HA! If I could give them a zero star or under, I would but Google doesn’t allow that so here we are giving them a 1 star. My mom has been raging about this place since they opened so we finally gave in and decided to take her for her birthday. Walked in to an empty restaurant and the staff looked confused. Needless to say, there was a delayed welcome. We asked if we could have a table for three. One of the staff told us that there was a buffet that they were setting up for but seated us anyway. Our waitress was kind. Answered our questions, brought our drinks out, and even took our orders. Here’s were it all goes downhill. A few minutes after our order was taken, a man comes over to our table (not sure if he’s the owner or what) and asked how we were doing. He then proceeded to tell us that they have a private buffet for a funeral at 12:45pm…mind you it was 12:23pm. We were just there like, okay? We honestly just wanted to eat and didn’t mind if there were more people coming in so we asked if it’s okay that we stay and have our lunch (literally just 3 of us). He said that we could stay but the funeral party would be there at 12:45pm basically implying that we would have to be done before they arrived. It’s already 12:23pm, our order was just taken, and you expect our order to be out to us and us eat everything in 22 minutes!? We weren’t trying to scarf our food down and definitely not trying to inconvenience anyone so we ended up leaving. Before leaving I did kindly mention to this guy that for future reference it would be nice to know if you’re unable to provide service prior to being seated. He was pretty dismissive when I provided this feedback and you could tell from his demeanor that he just wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Why couldn’t you just inform us when we walked in that you had a private event going on? Was that so hard to say? Why would you seat us knowing that you have a private event and proceed to take our order? Is it hard to put out a sign for other customers that you’re booked for a private event if you don’t want to communicate it verbally? First impressions are everything and this was NOT it. We left feeling beyond unwelcomed, so awkward, so uninvited, and extremely disappointed. Never again and would not recommend!

Not a great experience. Their staff are clearly not trained in the restaurant/hospitality industry as they were very scattered and did not know their menu. The food was pricey for simple fried rice and chicken dishes. Unfortunately, there are not many options in Orlando so add this one to the list of sub par representations of Guyanese-Chinese. We will not be back.

The atmosphere at Legends Caribbean Shack is absolutely beautiful, featuring a modern Caribbean–Boho vibe that feels both stylish and welcoming. The service was very pleasant and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything we ate was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
