Decided to drop into the Legends Grill on a absolutely gorgeous December Saturday for lunch. The patio is an awesome place, looking out over the expansive Omni Tucson National Course. The view, as a desert dweller is nothing short of stunning. Unfortunately that’s where the good stuff ends. When we arrived, there was one other table occupied, yet it took like forever for the server to wander over and give us a menu. After reviewing the menu, my wife chose a Cobb Salad and I an order for Fish and Chips. The food arrived promptly ( I’m sure the cooks were itching for something to do). The Cobb Salad was composed of underdressed Iceberg Lettuce and a chunk of near green tomato, the scrappy top rim, with stem spot present, seriously, this would be discarded scrap anywhere else, as I have never seen anything like it tossed in a salad! As for the Fish and Chips, I have no memory of a greasier, mushier piece of battered fish ANYWHERE. The coleslaw was OK, but the portion puny as well as the fries. To make matters worse, we needed both more dressing for the salad and I ran out of Tarter Sauce promptly. We both exhausted our water as we waited for the server to return to ask us how our meal was. By the time she returned we had both given up hoping for ANY semblance of service and requested the check. Needless to say, no tip was forthcoming, as the service was no better than I would expect at McDonalds’s. My suggestion, pack a sack lunch and enjoy the view, but don’t waste your money.

Wonderful, delicious experience! Eating on the patio, next to the golf course, sunset glorious…just a great way to engage with your friends in a social atmosphere where pretentious money bags can hang out with ease, and each other We both enjoyed it. Burnt Ends are delicious appetizer. Definitely feels nicely upscale

Great place. It was one of the very few places open on Christmas. We had to drive for 30 min from Tucson center, but we were not disappointed. The food was nice, there were quite a few people, but we got a table (they don’t take reservations).
They have a nice outdoor seating with a fireplace, we took pictures at it, it looks very nice.
They also have 2 pool tables of good quality (and free!) and a table shuffleboard table which was so much fun to play. We had a great Christmas time there, it was an awesome date night.
The only bad thing is that my salmon was way too salty. I could barely eat it. Other than that, a great place.

Pre Covid Legends was one of our favorite spots. As things have opened back up we have gone three times. I am vegetarian. They have very limited vegetarian options. The first time I ordered a salad. Maybe personal taste but it didn’t taste very good. The second time I ordered the other vegetarian salad. I was pretty sick for two days. Possibly unrelated. The third time I asked if they could make a grilled cheese sandwich. How hard could that be. It wasn’t on the menu but they said they would. What I received seemed to be a few prices of unmelted cheese squares on two prices of toast for $15.00.
My wife’s fish and chips was fabulous but I am afraid we will have to find a new favorite restaurant for casual evening out.

Legends is the best! The staff is amazing from the bartenders to the management. The menus are fairly priced and the food is great. If you’re in the area come by and have a great time.

Always a good time. Extradoinary service. Superb food and drinks fit for a king. Pay them a visit ASAP if your swinging by. Worth your time whether your coming off the greens or just stopping in for a late night cap.
