When I described this place over the phone to my dad, he said, “I’m glad it hasn’t changed in all these years”. I think that’s all you really need to know about the Tannersville Inn. This place has been around forever for a reason. Everyone was friendly, it was very clean, and my food was outstanding. Get some wings with Apple Pepper Jack sauce.

The NYC clam chowder was very nice. I also had the pork chops with broccoli. They came with a small applesauce. The service was nice and prompt. My favorite is probably the old woodwork and all the history. Also has a nice and active bar.

I have the Chicken Wisconsin, my husband had the chicken cheesesteak, my dad had a burger, my mom had the salmon burger, and my daughter had chicken tenders and fries. Food came quickly, waitress even served daughter first when we asked. I liked my sandwich a lot though I asked for no honey mustard since I’m not a fan. They said no problem.
Service is good and waitress was friendly. She checked on us, refilled drinks, brought extra napkins, etc.

I love the atmosphere of the inside. It really had the charm of a local restaurant with a lot of history behind it. The food was also pretty good. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly although the rice side dish was a little hard. Wait staff was very friendly. Steak dinner for two people was 80 dollars with tip. Not too bad! I recommend!!!

Food is horrible! I ordered salmon – it was not cooked properly. Part of it was still slimy. Coleslaw was the worst coleslaw I have tasted. We also ordered pork chop. It is was so hard. The mashed potato side was almost all butter. The place also smells. The only good thing there was the friendly waitress who waited on us – Kelly. Will definitely not recommend to anyone who wants good food.

Went here after a day at Camelback. Was very close to the mountain and was easy to find. There was a short wait on a Saturday which was very nice and the bar was good. Got a rib eye steak and it was pretty average at best. Service was great, atmosphere was also great. Food left a lot to be desired. Would have given it a higher rating if they had just seared the steak. Tasted like it was left on a cool griddle. I will be back to get bar food (burger and fries) and see how that goes. I get the feeling the feeling I was expecting more from this place then I should have.
