We were staying next door and after a long day of traveling and some sightseeing, decided to stop by for an early dinner. We sat at the bar and found seating with no problem. There were 2 servers working and the one we got barely acknowledged us and then came back to get our food order and give us the check. The other (whom seem to be the bartender) was attentive and friendly.

Food was good and came at a good time. We ordered the bacon cheddar burger with a side salad and the caesar salad with chicken. Flavors were good and portions too.

Very convenient and close by to the Wharf, the aquarium and the hotel.

Our server was so sweet and suggested specialties of the restaurant. The bread wasn’t soft but rather hard. We had fried calamari for appetiser, stuffed lobster and swordfish for entree. Kids had pasta with red sauce. Since it was our first time trying lobster our server helped us to clip it and overall it was good but quite buttery for my taste. Swordfish was over cooked making it little dry. Kids got their colouring sheets to keep them busy. Portions are good size for the price. Ladies restroom could be maintained well one was out of order and another lock was almost broken. They had diaper genie at the diaper changing stall, that was nice. Atmosphere was happening and bustle for dinner time.

Me and my husband spent 5 days in Boston sight seeing and trying all the places for lobster rolls. Legal seafood is my 2nd favorite and it was only by a smidge… I have decided I like the traditional lobster roll cold in mayo and it was absolutely delicious. My husband prefers warm lobster rolls in butter but this time he got the fried lobster roll — he liked it but didn’t rave over it but he absolutely loved the shrimp and corn chowder that he said was amazing. The waiter was on point and very friendly and the drinks were great. Expensive but worth it if you want amazing food!!

Decent place on the wharf with a direct view of the water while you eat. It’s casual but albiance is a bit low energy. Food is good and service is great. The have delicious oysters. However their chowder and lobster bisque is horrible and many people including us asked for a refund on it it was so bad.
Expect to pay 40-50 per person.

We loved our experience at Legal Sea Foods. The staff were warm and friendly and the dishes were delicious! We had shrimp cocktail, fish and chips and lobster. All were fresh and so delightful!

We were especially grateful for the gluten free and gluten safe options for my daughter who has Celiac. She was able to enjoyed fried fish, French fries and fried onions without risk of contamination. Our server brought gluten free rolls for her and was very diligent about asking about her sensitivity to cross contamination. The kitchen staff were great in keeping the gluten free dishes safe! Thank you so much for your attention to this crucial detail!

I had an amazing lobster roll! This thing was huge and delicious….just watch out for the price. Not often do I order something priced at “market”, and it turned out to be over $50….but it was amazing. Clam chowder tasted great, and we sat next to a window with a view of the harbor, so it was a very nice ambience. I highly recommend the Bourque’s Brew beer, great tasting and great cause.

It’s a franchise. Yes. Yet, sometimes that’s exactly what you want… industrious, uniform, no surprises. Yes. I frequented Short Hills Mall Legal Seafood.

This location for Boston tourists perfect walking distance from our hotel, Intercon. But would be great if staying in Marriott Long Wharf, Boston Harbor, right next to aquarium. Remember this place closed bit later than otgers.

Refused usual lobster, but must say yes to clam chowder… crackers and bread and butter.
Also ordered pricey $15 per piece rock claw today’s special from Florida…
Just missed happy hour from 3-6pm for 50cents New England clams.

Pasta was surprisingly good – rigatoni, shrimp scampi.

Dessert reliable. Boston cream pie and sundae. Miss the old round version, but will do.
Noticed happy fish logo is gone. Now staid lighthouse. Change of times?

Service from Colombiano David very cordial.

Muchos Gracias.

Amazing Service from Vlad, Trevor and Ricky.
Saga and Sarah greeted us with the most welcoming of smiles. And the manager, Muhammad, was SIMPLY SUPERB!
I have a gluten allergy (shout out Idris)and I safely enjoyed a delicious dinner! Lots of leftovers cause everything was so tempting

Don’t let them take the mussel broth away it goes with everything!

The chapplet went beautifully with my friend’s Bolognese and he spared a bit of his carafe which I loved with chocolate and coffee bonbons!

Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, but the food was just …bad. We ended up leaving disappointed and dissatisfied. Lobster roll was chewy and bland, Valencia had no seasoning at all. Fisherman’s plate was mostly onion rings and fries, though the fish and scallops were decent. The only thing we really liked were the oysters.
