Excellent happy hour every day at the bar from 3-6 pm. Buck a shuck oysters! Bartender was super friendly and nice and the Margaritas were delicately balanced and delicious! The beef sliders were delicious! Convenient parking. You just can’t go wrong!

I don’t eat seafood often so I tried the new brunch menu. It hasn’t caught on yet so the place was empty! The eggs Benedict were disappointing. The eggs were overcooked, the sauce tasted like mayonnaise and there was not much of it. There was a tomato slice on the pile which is OK, but was not mentioned on the menu which I dislike. The potatoes were quite good! Crispy on the outside but still fluffy inside. They were served with a good portion of peppers and onions and were a little bit greasy. Overall, not worth a repeat visit.

We’ve been to Legal Sea Foods in Cranston a few times, and it’s definitely long overdue for a review. We stopped in today for a happy hour treat, and our bartender, John-Martin, truly made the experience special. The margaritas were on point, and his friendly, welcoming attitude stood out. The food was great, the service was excellent, and we’ll definitely be back.

I recently dined at Legal Sea Foods in Cranston, and overall it was an okay experience. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is nice for a casual seafood meal.

The service was just okay—they were polite, but a few things were missed along the way, which took away from the experience. Unfortunately, my food was not cooked properly, which was disappointing, especially given the reputation and price point.
While the seafood tasted fresh and portions were fair, nothing really stood out or wowed me. It felt more like a reliable, safe choice rather than a memorable dining experience.

Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re craving seafood, but between the service missing some marks and my dish not being cooked right, it fell short of earning a higher rating.

Excellent destination. Always loved the atmosphere and the professional waiters. The overall food quality has declined a tiny bit in recent years compared to their growing prices. Still, a worthy place and superior to many other places of the same range. Very enjoyable.

If you’re looking for an extensive menu, this place is it! We were searching for a seafood place and landed on this gem that was conveniently located near an outdoor shopping mall; I’ve never been in a restaurant like this that was very clean, appropriately spaced and the sound quality of background music was just right! The service was beyond excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable — I got the salmon dinner and a Ceaser salad per my waitress’s recommendation and it did not disappoint; the salmon was a bit too salty however I would get it again! Side note, the sparkling water is very refreshing! A staple restaurant that will give you plenty of options to choose from!

Really good seafood with tons of (GF) gluten free options clearly marked on the menu! Oysters were fresh, GF croutons on my salad, dinner was amazing, and GF chocolate cake! Yum!! My bartender/server Paul was very good! Highly recommend!

Excellent seafood at reasonable prices. I had salmon, steamed broccoli, and miso glazed carrots – healthy and delicious. The atmosphere was well designed with a great color palette, lots of open spaces, and large windows. Rose, our server, was friendly, informative and professional. This would be one of our go-to places if we lived in the area. Helpful Hint: There is a large lot for parking with no fee.

Nice casual atmosphere with large windows. Service was good. I ordered the fish and chips, can’t remember the name of the dish hubby ordered. Mine was cooked very well! The fries (chips) were excellent, IMO. The fish was sort of bland and could have had more seasoning. Hubby sent his meal back because he said it smelled fishy and his baked fish didn’t look done. He ended up with a rushed order of fish and chips, which wasn’t as crispy as mine was. Overall the food was just ok to me. But, I do commend the staff for their efforts to please my husband.

This seafood restaurant chain, primarily located in the Northeast, remains a standout. My first visit was in the ’80s, and I’m thrilled to see it still thriving.

The service was outstanding, with dishes delivered promptly and cooked to perfection, bursting with well-balanced flavors.

The black cod stole the show—buttery, flaky, and among the best fish I’ve tasted in ages.

I had a fantastic experience and would eagerly return on my next trip to town.
