This was our first visit and we were impressed. The service was excellent, they have a wide bourbon selection, the food was excellent. My husband had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and asparagus, which I liked. I got the fish platter with 2 fried catfish fillets, onion rings in place of the fries, which were great, coleslaw and 3 corn fritters. The also have seasonal options to include fried green tomatoes, so I’ll have to come back and try them. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and service was wonderful, Kristin made us feel at home.

Locals say this bar and grill serves delicious food, including burgers, fish platters, and flatbreads. They also highlight the affordable prices, especially during happy hour, and the chill, welcoming atmosphere with lots of TVs. What we look for when traveling for work. This place had all this.

Randy was my server/bartender he was responsive when I came to the bar. I had the chicken fried chicken $14 with asparagus that had a $2.50 upcharge. The chicken fried chicken was juicy and hot. It had a great flavor and I did not have to season it. The gravy was peppery with a great homemade flavor. Some might think it was a little greasy but I enjoyed it. Mashed potatoes were homemade and also had a great flavor unfortunately, they were lukewarm (maybe waiting on the freshly made chicken) Asparagus had a great flavor sprinkled with bacon but was overcooked, not worth the upcharge. I would like to add that they have a military discount and I love supporting those who support the military. Overall, I would recommend the Legacy Grill in Lee’s Summit.

Beware that they list happy hour wells for $4, but then charge you an additional charge ($1) for adding coke or water to the well drink! Really? $1 for 2 oz of water or coke??? What a joke! Nobody else does this! So, it’s $4 for a well shot on ice, and $1 more to top it off with soda or water. It’s no wonder that Johnnys is packed almost every night and this place is mostly empty! It seems like there’s no consistency in their prices. And, they charge a penalty to use a credit card.

Atmosphere was great! Food was very average. Chicken had no seasoning. Everything else was great! Mom’s 80th bday went off without a hitch! Thank you Legacy Grill!

What a wonderful place! Terrific venue to celebrate my Old Man’s retirement party! Large dancefloor, billiards, TVs for days in the hang out area in the basement for: privacy w/ breathing room.
Having said that, let’s be honest: the best part are the bartenders with matching names: [Randi] ‘W/ an “I” ‘ and [Randy] ‘W/ a “Y” ‘ were the True Stars of the show!

We are full-time RVers and stopped in on a trip through town. Had their potato skins and a few drinks. Great bar. Great atmosphere. The young man who was our bartender was very wonderful. We would definitely return.

I’m eating “better,” so I just ordered a Ceasar Salad with salmon. I enjoyed it. Salmon was really good mixed in. My son ordered Buffalo Chicken Tacos. He didn’t know he didn’t like the buffalo sauce. I tried them and I don’t like the sauce either but I thought they were good. My younger son ordered mega meat pizza and he didn’t like it. 4/10. He said he didn’t like a seasoning on it. SO ordered Philly Cheesesteak with sweet potatoes fries. He said 5/10 for Philly. The sweet potato fries are amazing. I’d say 10/10 they have a hint of sweet and salty. They said a 7 & 8 so we are averaging them 9/10. I would come back. I enjoyed it here. Staff is friendly and it’s a chill environment.

We visited legacy grill for a sports bar environment while watching a playoff game. We were greeted with an entryway that’s being used as storage with freshly repaired, still unpainted cracks in the walls. There were extra unused tables and decor boxes sitting in the corner of the dining area. Very few patrons in the restaurant. Projector screens were washed out by the bright white interior lighting and we were told could not turn the game sound on. Food and drinks were ok, but we didn’t feel it was worth what we paid. Menu items were inaccurately described on the menu (ex. supposed to come with arugula, came with iceberg lettuce). We would love for this to be a popular Lakewood watch party destination, but we’ve been disappointed both times we’ve visited.
