Ordered a fish sub and it was horrible!! The fish was small and hard. I had more condiments than fish. Waste of money because I ended up throwing it away. Never again will I purchase a fish sub from this seafood carryout!

I had the best experience at Legacy. I drove an hour and 20 mins to try the food here and it did not disappoint. Customer service was amazing! I was greeted and had questions about the food. Everything was answered professionally and with kindness. The food was delicious! I wanted to order egg rolls but I knew it would be too much food for me to eat. Their menu has great options to choose from. I ordered the cheesesteak and crab fries with old bay & garlic parmesan. Also got to try the onion rings. Everything was cooked to perfection. I even got to chat with the owner and he’s such a humble man, super sweet and I appreciate all his hard work & effort. It shows with his amazing staff and food! Everything was phenomenal!

I usually order from the fort Washington location and I’m satisfied. I was super excited for this sandwhich paid $28 dollars to get it just for it be nasty and dry no sauce and not same as when i usually get it. I’m really disappointed and feel like i wasted my money.

I have been a customer of Legacy since shortly after they opened, and while I enjoy their food, there is one recurring issue that continues to be disappointing: the way they wrap their sandwiches. Unless I specifically remember to request that my sandwich not be wrapped and instead placed directly in a box, I often end up with cheese and other ingredients stuck to the paper.
It is frustrating to repeatedly receive sandwiches where part of the meal is essentially lost to the wrapping, and even more so when my request is not handled with care. For example, during my most recent visit this morning, I asked for my sandwich not to be wrapped, and the staff simply unwrapped it and placed it into a box, resulting in a poor presentation. When I showed the sandwich to the young lady at the register, she looked at it and then looked at me as if to say, “Okay… so what do you want me to do about it?” That response, combined with the lack of effort in correcting the issue, made the experience extremely frustrating.
This is disheartening because I genuinely enjoy the food at Legacy and have been a loyal customer for years. However, the repeated issue with the wrapping, the poor presentation, and the dismissive response from staff make it hard to justify continuing to dine here. This might be the last time I visit for a while.

The food was tasty. I think I should have gotten a different seasoning. I also wish I knew about the legacy sauce for the eggrolls. They needed a little extra to them. Overall it was good. Customer service was on point.

I don’t usually leave reviews but idk what was going on today at legacy. I’ve gotten legacy a couple of times. Today I got a chicken cheesesteak. I couldn’t even eat it because every bite ha this stretch substance in it. Not only was the sandwich inedible but they drastically reduced the portion sizes for things like the crab fries. If I’m paying $11 to make my side crab fries I’m expecting a portion size that fits the price. I’m highly disappointed and they may have just lost a frequent customer.

After seeing all these reviews I had to try it out! It definitely lived up to the hype. I got the crab fries and the steak & cheese egg rolls. The egg rolls were my favorite. I loved it with the sweet chili sauce. I did also try it with the legacy sauce. I pulled over to a parking lot just to try it hot before I made it home. lol Both items together were about $26. Looking forward to checking out this the other items.

Definitely one of the best places in Fort Washington to grab some good comfort food! Chicken tenders, cheesesteaks, fried fish, crab fries… they have it all. Staff are friendly and helpful. Inside has a bar top seating area where you can wait for your food and play games.

Me and my wife fell in love with the food at Legacy Carryout. They put a lot of steak on their cheesesteak. The Legacy sauce is very very good. Everything was cooked just right. The Old Bay wings are good. My wife loves the Henny wings. We will be back.

Ok. Here we go. Decided to try this place out because I have seen a lot of people hyping this place up. I ordered the cheesesteak with grilled shrimp and the two hotdogs with fries. The sub was heavy and packed. The meat was falling out of the sub. The hot dogs were ok. Nothing to write home about. The fries were cooked HARD. Couldn’t eat them. Now to be frank the establishment is dirty. Bugs flying around and dead bugs on the floor. The floor was horrible. I think they need to close for a few days and have the place cleaned professionally. A second chance at legacy is 50/50
