Here are my pros and cons of this restaurant(also visiting from out of town): pros- beautiful setting, I loved the outdoor seating and the paintings inside, the French onion soup was AMAZING and the Créme Brûlée was very good too especially with the shortbread cookies. Cons- I made a reservation and when we got to the door the hostess looked like she had no idea where our table was so she picked a random table right by the door. We were a little cold every time the door would open, it would’ve been a little nicer to have been seated somewhere else. I ordered the “Coq Au Vin” which looked absolutely nothing like it does on the website (pictures are very deceiving). It was like I was eating more of the marinated wine than the chicken. I also thought it was just a little bitter for my liking. One last thing, Ive never been to a restaurant where bread and butter wasn’t automatically served when they serve you water. We had to pay $5 for that. Oh well! Other than that, everyone else at the table liked their dishes! I would love to come back again to hopefully have a better experience and maybe order something else!

We had the tomato salad, the roasted half-chicken with mashed potatoes, and the raclette burger. They were all really good, and I’d get them again, except that I’d substitute out the fries that came with the burger—clearly frozen, flavorless, and undeserving to share the same plate as the outstanding burger.

Great service, I had the 1/2 chicken, tasty but not well prepared, tuff to separate meat from the bone, a bit overdone. Mashed potatoes were whipped, they should always be mashed.

The restaurant is a warm, friendly design with outdoor seating available! Delicious food! Escargot, Calamari, Cheese Fondue, Steak Tartare. The special was a lovely Seafood Risotto. A great variety of entree selections! The drink menu was huge! Deserts melt in your mouth! Enjoy! ❤️

Food was delicious! Had a petite verte cocktail that was divine. Started with the butter lettuce salad, trout almondine for my entree and we split the almond cake with strawberries for dessert. Looking forward to to going back!

The hostess barely mumbled a word to me, and when I wished her a happy 4th, she didn’t acknowledge it. The food was disappointing because I ordered the beef bourguignon, but there were barely any vegetables (no pearl onions) with the three short ribs I received. Furthermore, they were all heavily coated in the rich sauce/glaze of the entree, unlike the photos that show fresh vegetables poured over the top. I also anticipated receiving French fries with it because a Yelp photo of someone’s order shows it that way. For a $40 meal I was overly disappointed, especially because I sought after this meal to fill my empty stomach after my 5 hour chemo infusion and it only disappointed me. Overall, I was mostly disappointed with the service, and I wish I had captured a photo of the presentation of the food for takeout.

Left Bank offers outdoor dining. They are extending several Booth tables along the street that is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the French onion soup which was absolutely delicious. And not too salty. Just exactly right. I ordered a butter lettuce salad and french fries❗red house wine yum❗Highly recommend. Been coming here for years. I wish my photos gave it justice. The weather was beautiful and the service was accommodating and attentive.
