Randomly drove by and the name caught our eye. So happy we decided to check it out. I personally love the old school neon signs and seat yourself style atmosphere. We got bbq pork and grilled pork banh mi, so delicious. The bread isnt perfect, kinda doughy and not the crispiest exterior but nonetheless it was fantastic. So much meat. The pork and shrimp spring rolls were insanely juicy and fresh. Iced lees mocha coffee is fragant and strong as well. Will be a staple everytime we visit LV now!!!

food tastes not good at all. we bought banh mì, banh bao, and pateso. none of them is good. but the sugarcane juice was better than I thought, so I give them bonus star.

It’s a shame this place isn’t 24h, they never went back after Covid it seems, they should take down the sign.

I always have a love hate relationship with the traditional bahn mi. The wide variety of mystery meats and textures are in fact delicious but the more you think about it, it starts feeling less appealing . This isn’t a dig at the restaurant. I’ve been to Vietnam and it’s the real deal. They have a wide variety of more American sandwich’s as well.

The Star is the show is for sure the bread and really Holds all the sandwiches together

Love the interior. Huge open restaurant and you can see them baking the bread. Tons of Asian snacks available as well. Great fast casual place but parking for this area sucks! But that’s only because there are so many awesome places in this strip mall!

Even though the interior is a bit dated and could use some improvements, there’s a familiarity and comfort that this place provides. The variations of banh mi is good with breakfast options included and a few other sandwich options. The service has been steady even coming here years later. It’s great for a grab-and-go before your trip back home or an easy reliable bite.

The sandwich from Lee’s Sandwiches was absolutely amazing! I ordered the #1 Combination, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was packed with flavor the meats were perfectly layered, fresh cilantro and pickled onions, and the bread had that perfect crisp on the outside while staying soft on the inside. It’s definitely a favorite for a reason! If you’re looking for something flavorful, filling, and satisfying, the #1 Combination is a must-try.

I don’t know what Lee’s secret is, but they never run out of bread.

Grilled pork bánh mì is my go-to, and no one does it quite like Lee’s Sandwiches in Chinatown. This place has been a staple for as long as I can remember, serving up consistently solid sandwiches with zero fuss. The grilled pork is flavorful, slightly sweet, and perfectly charred — tucked into a crisp 10” French baguette with crunchy pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and just the right kick of jalapeño. It’s everything you want in a bánh mì.

Service is fast, prices are more than reasonable, and the food always hits the spot. Don’t come here expecting ambiance — it’s all about the food and speed. That said, the parking lot is famously terrible. Tight spots, chaotic exits — it’s Las Vegas parking at its worst. But there’s free parking, and that counts for something.

If you want a no-frills, quick, and tasty bánh mì, Lee’s is still the local go-to.

Bahn mi sandwichs are delicious on a fresh baked baguette . I add opla (fried eggs) to the #4. Their coffee is very strong too!

I went in to get a coffee and was greeted by rude staff, I waited for a very long time before getting it and the coffee was extremely hot, as soon as I got outside the bottom of the cup melted off and the pressure from the heat made the cup explode all over me, my clothes were covered in hot coffee and the coffee ended up burning my hands to the point of blistering. I went inside to try and get napkins and to clean up and the staff weren’t helping me until I went up to the counter and asked multiple times, then I asked for a manager and the worker flat out told me no and shook her hand to me to go away, it took asking multiple times before the manager noticed and came over, she did give me a refund and was very down to earth and polite to her credit, but the workers treatment towards me was extremely unprofessional, the coffee was so hot to the point that an hour later I have blistering all over my left hand and wrist.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Grilled Pork (#5) and Special Combination (#11) sandwiches. The baguette is warm with a soft center and a crunchy exterior. The vegetables of house pickle (carrots and radish) are sweet and crunchy and the jalapeno gives that blast of heat. The grilled pork is on the sweeter side as well but very delicious!

Ambiance: 5/5 – large eating area with lots of tables and chairs. They have packaged food products for sale as you walk through the door that directs you to the counter. They have a large window for you to see the bread that are proofing but it was empty when we visited the location. The location is in a strip mall with a shared parking lot with other businesses so it can be quite challenging to get through.

Service: 5/5 – short interaction but very quick and to the point. A gentleman calls out the number in English which is repeated by a speaker system in multiple languages.

Value for price: 4/5 – yummy food, quick service, and reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, the portion size is a bit on the smaller end so we needed about 1.5 sandwiches to be satisfied.
