Very very disappointed with the sandwich I just received . Order the #11 special combo . Normally it is toasted nope! Not my sandwich it was cold and it seemed like it was a sandwich that was already sitting there for a bit . Sooooo much pickled radishes it was Soo bad .. had little to no cilantro and the meat? What meat? It was hiding so bad u couldn’t even tell! ..
Soo sad totally went down hill .. been coming there since they opened and this would potentially be my last time .
Thank you ty Lee tho for her professionalism.. I understand it’s not her fault on how her crew makes the sandwich.. (to the girl who made my sandwich) if you know what the protocol is on how to make the sandwich correctly then there should not be any issue ..make it how it’s suppose to be.
Only reason for the 3star is for Ty and her professionalism.

My first time at Lee’s Sandwiches, and i thought everything was great! I was greeted and waited on right away, the gentleman that helped me was polite, the BBQ pork sandwich was tasty and long, the iced Vietnamese coffee original was so good ( first time trying VC). My bahn mi had a lot of meat on it, and a good amount of vegetables too, the bread tasted fresh. The iced coffee tasted so good, but I paid for it later (jittery), because it ended up being too strong for me I think…I see others complaining about the amount of ice, but Vietnamese coffee needs to be diluted, especially if you arent use to that much caffeine. The place was clean. My order came out to 16 something with a tip included. I was able to park right in front. There is plenty of seating inside, if you wish to dine in, however, I took my order to go.

Ordering the platters was simple and gave an opportunity to try different items on their menu I normally wouldn’t order. The vegetarian European sandwich was delicious and they had a variety of platters to choose from. Sandwiches overall were decent.

Got the combo banh mi sandwich and chicken banh mi. My combo sandwich was OK; it was definitely not the best banh mi sandwich I’ve ever ate. I feel the sandwiches are very Americanized. Paid approximately $7 a sandwich. Good size sandwiches though. The sandwich was kind of bland and had too much of that pig cheese spread or whatever it was in it which i was not fond of.
My daughter couldn’t stomach the chicken sandwich after seeing the inside. She took a bite and did not like it. I tried the chicken banh mi, myself, and found that it tasted like there was a lot of mayonnaise. The sandwiches do not have the asian flavors I was expecting, probably because they are trying to cater to the students’ palates since its in the same shopping plaza as Fresno States market and dorms. Unfortunately I can’t recommend the sandwiches at this time. I have to give the food 2 stars.
The #1 coffee was pretty good though. I got the regular size for about $5. I t was a little sweeter than what im used to however I would go back for that.
Place was clean and well maintained. Good appearance. Staff was nice and service was quick. Not many people when we went. Parking is ok, but keep in mind it is difficult to find parking in this area on busy days.

I recommend the bbq pork ban mi from lees sandwiches. I’m not a huge pork fan but this sandwich has the right marinade and seasoning it’s not spicy it’s not salty it’s a unique flavor and I can’t have it without some of the sweet n sour sauce it makes it 10X better!!! I tried out the regular Vietnamese ice coffee they have, it is a bit strong for my taste as I do like mine a tiny bit more milky and sweet but it definitely will do if you need an energy boost.

Came here to try their food, and it wasn’t really that great. Banh mi menu was a little difficult to understand. I ordered #11 and #23. For the #23 (turkey, ham & cheese) they didn’t really have an answer when i asked if the sandwich is served hot or cold. The turkey, ham, and cheese were very plain. #11 was ok. My wife liked it. But we think Huong Lan sandwiches taste better and cost less. I tried their eggrolls chicken and pork. It was eh. Tried their pork ball pastry, that was pretty good. Also had to try their Vietnamese ice coffee and they literally filled the cup with ice shavings so you only get around 5-8 oz of liquid coffee. We went across to Sweet Lyfe to try their Vietnamese ice coffee and they did it right! Little ice, and so much more drink for your money. And it’s good too.

Decided to try it out, nice little place. Customer service was great, really nice.
The buttery crunchy croissant sandwich was so good , big enough for 2 people. Will go again to try another one.
The drink, I tried something new which I forgot exactly what it was but i did not enjoy it. Flavor preference for me. Its the drink in the photo.

Lee’s got the best banh mi in town, no doubt. The bread’s soft but still nice and crispy, and they don’t skimp on the fillings—it’s loaded and super tasty. And the first responder/veteran discount is a nice bonus. Good food and a good deal!

Fried pastry smells like chemical , is that the smell that should have? To be honest I tried it for the first time yesterday and it smelled bad thought I eat it and after I felt my tongue tingling . Anyone else has smelled the pastry or that’s how it smells??
