Reviews
We arrived around 6pm and there were very few people there. The restaurant was very clean and had great ambiance, even it is was not offering great views as most other restaurants we had been to. The music was at just the right volume and was well selected. The menu was exactly as we had seen online, so we felt good.
Service was definitely “laid back” and it was quite some time before server came to take our order and rarely checked back unless I caught his eye, and with his face buried in his cell phone that was not always easy. Nevertheless, when he did come, he was very friendly.
Drinks were VERY reasonably prices (especially since we came during happy hour). We ordered fried crab bites and yuca fries for appetizers. It was a long wait but when they came out they were HOT and DELICIOUS! I was a little disappointed at portions but at least they were very good.
Ordering our food was a bit of a let down. I was attracted to the menu option to choose the size of my snapper. Small, medium, large, x-large or xx-large. Well, that was not the case, they only offered a small or an XX-large that night. I went with ribs and chicken instead. While disappointed as I would not get my final snapper on vacation, at least the ribs and chicken were amazing. My wife wanted to order the lobster but wouldn’t you know it, they did not have any that day. Very disappointing as looking at their marketing and reviews, and the fact that I could have gotten anywhere else. Wife ended up with yellowfin tuna, which while flavorful was definitely cooked beyond the rare she asked for. My kids had ribs and chicken and their dinners were also very delicious. I should add that we ordered a side of coleslaw, superb!
In short, this restaurant has every potential to be amazing, but just came off good. The food we got was delicious, but just wasn’t the food we wanted to order. So, if you are interested in something on the menu, call first to make sure that they have it. If you are OK with just eating anything, then good spot. Service was friendly, but SLOW and not attentive. Would I go back? Possibly, but not without calling first.
It’s a no brainer. Winner in my stomach and wallet.
Lee’s team, thanks again for the wonderful experience.

I have had lobster from many different countries, but this one has to be the tastiest so far. I got to pick the specific lobster, and they grilled it very well. The live music & band was really active as well. The molten lava cake, with ice cream is one to cry for.
