my dad has been coming here since he was pretty young in the late 80’s and i’ve been here with him consistently since i was born. awesome little restaurant fabulous owners, family owned, and wonderful food. they cook in right in front of you and you make it how you want it. it’s a little bit pricey but just to try it? totally worth it. 100% recommend.

My fiance has been eyeballing this place for years and we finally had an opportunity to come here. My first initial thought was it looked closed (from the outside) despite the Open sign (so I understand the complaints about the ambiance), however once we got in it was nice and bustling. We were seated and attended to right away. The food was very fresh and the whole place very clean. We tried the egg rolls which were very different from traditional, kinda like a fusion egg rolls with fry bread, but very tasty! We ordered drinks, which the waitress was AWESOME at refilling, something I’ve noticed servers in UT in general really suck at, so that helped enhance the dinner as well.

I have been coming here for 20 years now, I love this place. My wife loves this place. However, we came for the first time in a while and went through the normal process and enjoyed our food. My daughter is a picky eater, but she like her kids bowl as well. When the bill came, I was shocked, after tip our bill was $101. I couldn’t believe it. We got our dinners two egg rolls and drinks. This in the past would have cost us around $55 here. I loved this place but they have priced me and my family out of coming to Lees. If I was going to spend $100+ on food we would go for a nice steak or something else. It is sad as I loved coming here. Hopefully their prices come back down to a reasonable level.

I’ve been coming here since I was very VERY young. I have many amazing memories of amazing food shared with my family. It’s easily worth the price! After a meal at lees your going to be very full and happy- I know I always am! Good food for anyone of any age and definitely my favorite restaurant! Plus it’s nice to know your supporting locals by eating here- if you’ve never been I totally recommend you give it a shot! Plus- if your up to the challenge I only know two people who can finish more than one bowl!

Great service, okay food, needs some changes. The service was good, they explained the process very swiftly and in an easy to understand manner regardless of how busy it was. Always refilling waters, nice staff. The food was okay. Egg drop soup needed salt, tasted watery. The bread was alright. Microwaved rice. The buffet, just not enough variety. Only one sauce recipe, one type of noodle, only maybe ten actual toppings other than their three meat choices and regardless of what toppings, if you put the only sauce recipe they have on, it tastes the same always. I went up a few times and each time I tried to change up what I got but to no prevail, it tasted the same. There should be different noodle options and way more veggie, seasoning, and sauce options. Another problem is the size of the venue. Very small, loud, not enough room for a buffet; not wheelchair accessible. Only one line, had to wait 25 minutes just to get my bowl refilled and the line was practically rubbing against peoples tables, just crowded! Also, not the cleanest. It’s a hard to keep clean restaurant but still, the buffet area had noodles, sauce, and toppings spilled everywhere by other customers and the grill looked nasty. Only had maybe 3 tongs to use for all 10 toppings, had to take the tongs soaking in the onions to grab some carrots. If you wanna try it, go ahead I guess but don’t take a date or anyone that gets overwhelmed easy.

My family has been going here for over 20 years and have enjoyed it. We went last night and it the food was okay but when the bill came and was $187 for a family of 5, I felt like I had been ripped off. When you are over $10 per person more than your competitors, I would expect to be blown away. No one in our party went through the line more than once. I get it is all you can eat, but who is going to eat more than one giant bowl of noodles? It’s sad because this has always been a go to when we were in Ogden, but it will probably be my last time eating here.

Great staff and the food is wonderful. Wish there was a bit more variety but other than that very tasty. The prices are a bit high for me but I’m sure that’s due to the economy. Still great local hole in the wall that had good food!

Overall I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5. Great service. Great food. Just a touch expensive and more sauce options for your meal would be fantastic. I loved the cook on the food. The bread was incredible. Very unassuming bon the outside but go on in!

It was kind of expensive for what it was. They didn’t have as many options as I’d hoped for like their competitors do. Aftwe we ate, my dad told me, “I would rather go to HuHot.” I love to support local but they need to step their game up to keep up with their competitors. The service was great, the waitresses were on top of drink orders and checking to see if we needed anything. Even when the line was a bit busy, we went through pretty quick. I would eat here again, but it would be nice if they added more things to their buffet line. Their food starts at $30 and goes up from there.

Fun experience! Very tasty. Lots of veggies so works even if you’re vegan. No tofu or edamame or anything like that but the mushrooms are good and there are a number of veggies including green bell peppers, green onions, baby corn, water chestnuts?, carrots, potatoes, and onions. Lots of sauce you can put on yourself and then they cook it in front of you. Chili sauce at the table is very good and the fried pita-type bread is good too and they will bring you more. The soup that comes with is egg drop so I didn’t try it. Coke and Pepsi products. You can take leftovers home.
