As a trucker I’ve been all over the U.S. and I normally try to find a local restaurant to eat from if I’m not cooking. This place is by far the best I’ve been to. I read the reviews before I went and they were right on point. It didnt disappoint at all. The food was AMAZING…The hospitality annnd the people made me feel like I was at my aunts house surrounded by good folks, just enjoying outdoors. If your anywhere close to Love’s travel stop 776 as a truck driver. I would definitely recommend you going here! I WILL BE BACK LOL!!! Thanks for everything….

Driving from Texas to Florida, this place was a joy to stop at. Every plate was full and worth the price. Each bite had flavor and everyone loved the Mac & Cheese. The rib plate and burger plate was together $25 and the two plates in the one picture was $30.
The smothered pork was so good and flavorful, my favorite part was the cabbage.
If you need a place to stop by off the highway, I suggest this little place.

We are from California on a cross-country trip and wanted to find some of the famous Mississippi BBQ. In the small town of Edwards (pop. 900, on a good day), we found Lee’s Heavenly BBQ several miles off the highway. At first, we were reluctant; the building was not what we expected, and there were no signs of life anywhere. Long story short, it was the BEST BBQ EVER. The Ribs, the Mac/Cheese, and the Peach Cobbler were amazing, and while we ate at one of two tables, there was a constant stream of to-go pickups. The owner/cook is Renita Lee, a delightful, joyful Christian woman who knows her barbeque.
