I was just served OLD SHOE LEATHER FOR CHICKEN LIVERS!!!! THEY HAD TO BE COOKED WHEN THEY OPENED ! IM ORDERED AT 6PM…..THE EDGES ON EVER LIVER IS BLACK AND DRIED OUT!!!!!!! When I crossed the border, the officer asked for the purpose of my trip. When I told him that I wanted to eat at Lee’s Famous Chicken, I was perplexed that it is not as famous as I thought it should. Because, frankly, it should.
The fried chicken is tastier than Popeye’s, crispier than KFC, and decent sized too. I tried the spicy chicken, which is not too spicy, and come with different seasoning than the original recipe. I also ordered the liver and gizzards, which brought me back to my childhood. I found their sweet tea to be too sweet, so I would mix the sweetened and unsweetened tea in my cup.
Staff was very friendly, and as the place wasn’t busy, they interacted with us and suggested some tips (like mixing honey and butter for dipping). This place should be busier with folks wanting to eat great fried chicken.

There is no question Lees makes great food. But we wanted to get our chicken right when the Super Bowl started. I did a call ahead and placed my order over the phone. They said just show up 10 minutes before your order and pay. I was out the door the exact time I wanted my food ready which was awesome. Great work.

I got an 8 piece family meal with mashed potatoes and green beans. originally i order mac and cheese but changed my mind and asked for green beans instead, they gave me both. the food is well seasoned, crispy, and fresh. if you’ve had a bad experience, i insist you give it another go. ($28 for 2 large sides, 4 biscuits, 8 pieces fresh crispy chicken isn’t bad)

It was ok I wouldn’t make a big effort to go back but it most definitely do you good if you want something quick to eat. Employees were nice and patient, I had the 3 pc tender with double boasted potatoes the chicken was kind of bland and the boasted potatoes were to soft they weren’t cooked enough.

I would like to pause from eating my dinner to write this. Tonight my family and I placed an online order. Lee’s was busy but they got everyone through the line in a timely matter, as they always do. Soon we found out that the system had gone down, causing a bit of a delay..no worries! We got our food only 10 minutes after scheduled pick up time but once we pulled into the driveway of our house I noticed some of the items in my order were missing. Immediately I called and redirected myself back to Lees to have the order fixed. I spoke to the manager (I cant remember their name) and had the most genuine, polite response to my issue. With no hesitation they told me to come back and they’d have it fixed for me. I was missing 3 tenders and a coleslaw. They gave me 6 tenders, coleslaw, another box of biscuits and a brownie with an apology note ! I believe this establishment operates and runs just how every customer oriented business should. Thank you to the manager and staff for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. We will continue to come back and recommend this location to friends and family!

Made a catering order days in advanced to be picked up at 545. Showed up right on time and waited 20 minutes at a table for it be to “put together”. Not really convenient when I have a party of people waiting for food.

It is decent based on what I had, but not memorable. The chicken was tasty but needed to be a tad more crispy, imo. The sauce was okay for a chipotle ranch, but I would of liked it to be bolder. Fries were seasoned nicely and well cooked. All in all it was quite fresh and light for fried chicken. Just missing that thing that makes you want to run back to it.

Ordered delivery from Lee’s website, not a third-party, the order was never delivered. When i called and spoke to the manager he told me no one picked up my order for delivery and approximately 2 hours later it was canceled. Still charged my card and has not been a reversal after 7 days. Great business practice.
