There is a Lee’s in my hometown and for as long as I can remember I have always loved it. Today my boyfriend and I decided to go through the drive thru because it was on our way home. I haven’t even eaten the food yet and I’m just completely disappointed. The girl in the drive thru should be somewhere in the back and not around customers. She was very rude and impatient. She waited for us to pay at the window to then tell us there would be a hold time of almost 10 minutes on the wedges. We just decided to wait because I usually love the wedges and it seemed like that upset her. I’m not sure who is in charge of hiring at this location but it seems they may need to keep tabs on their employees.

I personally love Amber & Ashley. They always are so sweet, understanding, & quick to help if anything may be wrong with our order. They always greet us with respect as a loyal customer who comes in all the time. Almost every week to be exact lol. & I also love Amariah as she always greets me as soon as I walk through the door even if she isn’t taking our order. She talks to my daughter & is so sweet & a hard worker. I’ve personally seen her putting her all into cleaning, taking orders & being so nice to anyone who walks through the door! We love the Anderson Lee’s. Even on their busiest days! Great staff! & The food is ALWAYS fresh! Best chicken in town!

OMG!!! By far the best chicken to go in Anderson!! Not one time all summer have I went here that there wasnt a long line waiting for their food. Even though the line is long tge wait time is never more than 5 to 6 minutes from n pull up to pull off. This food is made like grandma’s. The slaw melts in your mouth and the potatoes and chicken gravy are to die for. So if your looking for southern cooking on the go, here’s your stop.

Maybe it is just me but the food is never fresh. The staff are not friendly at all and very pushy. Lines are always backed up with a wait that is pretty unreasonable. When you combine that all with the price to quantity versus quality it begs to question if Lee’s Chicken is really worth it anymore. I’ve had some people tell me from the inside that they are working on an overhaul of the restaurant which has somewhat been done already externally, just have to wait and see if they will do the same with the team working there at this location. Until then there are other options for fried chicken.

Lees is a hit-and-miss. Sometimes the food is great. Sometimes, the food is not. They’re getting really too expensive to go anymore. The lines used to be packed. They’re dying down because of price gougin. You spend 50 bucks for 8 pieces.

I waited in line for over 30 or 40 minutes and my food was barely warm enough to eat. The chicken livers were not cooked enough and I’ve had food poisoning for days. I’m in pain with diarrhea and stomach cramping.
