Went in to get chicken liver dinner had to wait 10min before they even asked what I wanted. Brought out chicken gizzards and wanted me to taste it told them is not what I ordered. Got my order home and livers were burnt up and hard!! Won’t be back!!

I read some bad reviews on this place that kept me away but I decided today I would try it out and I have to be honest, the bad reviews are not warranted. I’m from Texas, here on business, this chicken is pretty good a little too much breading but other than that food is fresh and very good. Service is also good didn’t wait too long after my order to get my food. The cashier was friendly. Note to self, don’t believe the bad reviews, try it yourself to get an opinion, what’s good for you might not be what’s good for someone else! I recommend this place for some good homestyle fried chicken!

I’ll give Lee’s 4 stars. I’ve been eating at Lee’s since I was little but stopped for years due to the chicken tasting gooey rather than crunchy. Decided to give it a chance again and I was pleasantly surprised– hot crunchy chicken with a side of savory mashed potatoes, macaroni and delicious sweet tea. It has improved! This may be an instance where how good the food is on that day depends on who is working and cooking but last time I had it was delicious and I’m excited to go back!

First visit to this establishment. Placed order of two spicy jumbo dipper cups at drive through. Our wait was quite long to get our food. Headed out of parking lot, began eating the dippers. Let me rephrase that statement. Headed out of parking lot, began attempting to bite into the hard , dry, leathery, overcooked, over warmed, not of this world food item that Lees Famous Chicken on Bellefontaine St. In Lima ,Ohio refers to as Spicy Jumbo Dippers. Waste of time and money. Disappointed. Wait, let me rephrase that, Disgusted.

UPDATE. November 2022
So. Update. Decided to try again. Ordered 2 2pc meals, paid again for all white. Get home and have 1 leg and 3 thighs. No one will answer phone…. Are these people really qualified to be able to know what parts of a damn chicken are white meat???

Ordered 12 Pc family meal, asked for no thighs. Paid the extra fee for that and ended up with 8 legs
