We were very disappointed with our visit today. We have been here several times while traveling and enjoyed the food. Today we ordered our food and our potato wedges were a very dark color. I went to pick it up and it was so loaded with grease and cold thst it was limp. Pictures will be attachef!
My chicken strips were at best Luke warm. Very disappointed this is a treat for us when we travel because we don’t have a Lee’s.

Food tastes AMAZING (Spicy Chicken Sandwich with spicy sauce and pickles, as well as, the BEST potato wedges)! The service was quick and food was fresh, BIG PLUS!!!! The cashier at the drive thru window was EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY & RESPECTFUL!!!

I had never eaten here. I was in Morehead to pick up some wheels for my side by side, and I was looking for somewhere I could feed my son and myself. I saw the sign for lee’s chicken strips. I like chicken strips so I thought I’d see what it was all about. Wow! I’m glad I did! This is BY FAR the best chicken I’ve ever eaten! Staff was so friendly, and the sides portions are huge! And delicious! Oh how I wish this place was in Huntington, WV where I’m from. Hats off to an amazing little restaurant! You guys rock!

The restaurant is run down and not in the best shape. It didn’t have a clean feel to it, but it was late and weed been traveling so day and I just wanted a quick, hit meal. We opted for the buffet, which had plenty of choices. The food looked a little tired, but tasted okay. I was disappointed that the potatoes were instant. The salads were packaged. In fact, none of the food was fresh, all canned our packaged. Again, disappointing. If you want fast food, choose another option. Also, an employee kept going out and coming in a side door and was letting it slam behind her and the really loud, really rattling bang bang bang was really annoying

NASTY!! Has went downhill in the last 2 years. Mashed potatoes were sour. Brown gravy was brown water. Ants on the table. It wasn’t busy when we got there so no excuse for the nasty tables. No wonder they have ants. Even the floors were nasty. The buffet was a joke. Food poisoning waiting to happen. Literally a handful of ice around the containers containing cold sides. Just an awful experience!

Exactly like mostly every other Lee’s chicken. It was a rainy day when we went, so the floors were slippery. The buffet was full of food and it looked fresh. The manager and cashier were friendly. The oven fried chicken tasted really good. The white gravy and the brown gravy tasted good also. The bathrooms were clean.

This place is a great random find! Fast food place with a buffet. We got ours to go. The slaw was a smidge heavy on the mayo for my tastes. The chicken and potato wedges on the other hand are great! The wedges I got had sections that were bruised, but guess what? I just didn’t eat that part – revolutionary, I know. Amazing value for the price and taste. I wish this was around in NC.

We were here on the 15th after having not been to this restaurant for months (after 2 bad experiences). We had heard there was new management! Well. It might have just been a bad time or something (5:20 ish)
The catfish was cold. Half the tables stayed dirty while we were there (40 minutes). 2 different soda flavors were out.
Now, I had the chicken and it’s good as always (when it’s not cold). Mashed potatoes weren’t hot, but they weren’t quite warm either.
We love a good buffet. So we’d really like to see some care taken with it. We’d eat here 10 times before our last couple bad experiences. We love chicken! I think this would be best to order/pick up until the buffet area gets taken care of.
Great looking redesign of the inside. Window ledges were totally dirty and there’s a post outside thats completely unattached from the ground.

Pulled up to speaker to order employee tells me to hold just a minute. That ended up being 7 minutes. Had to call them to take my order as I set in the drive thru. After ordering and given food drive off and drive to rest stop to eat before heading home to Ashland. Order was completely wrong. Paid for 3 piece chicken meals and was given strip meals. Second time at this establishment with poor service. I had to give it 1 star to leave a review but it doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Do NOT recommend

The tables were all dirty and stained with food and drinks thrown across them, like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. Ants crawled across tabletops and windowsills as if it was a normal thing to do. The buffet was all cold and obviously had not been refilled for several hours. The bathrooms were also exceptionally filthy. All in all, it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had the displeasure of having.
