This place rocks. I’ve been coming here for the last few years. In that time Lee’s has made me feel great about fried chicken. Every time I order take out I get just what I pay for. Everyone here is super friendly. All in all Lee’s is some of the best fried chicken in the south.

Just wasn’t appetizing. I love Lee’s. But Corn was old.. Beans were bland.. chicken was not very warm, no mac&cheese and their dessert game was extremely weak.. I was there before 7 pm so should have been better.

Came through drive-thru at 1:37 pm on 5/30/25 got 2 #1’s with potatoe wedges. 1 meal had 3 potatoes wedges only in box with chicken and a dry, hard biscuit and Pepsi The other meal had 5 wedges and the chicken and another dry, hard biscuit and a Pepsi. 1 in our party was only going to eat the biscuits, because they can’t eat fried food. We asked for butter and honey . (Donny) this is who they said was this gentlemans name when we called back.was working the window he said the butter, honey and napkins were in the bag. Guess what? None of it was in the bag we asked for the honey and butter specifically because of dry biscuits. So as the old saying goes ( they screw you in the drive thru ) goes this location stands true to it! Cost of tge 2 meals was $19.02

The spicy jumbo dippers are BARELY spicy, small, dry and mostly hard, as though they’ve been sitting out a while. Even though I asked if they were fresh and was told yes. And I ordered at a peak time. Last year they were robust, juicy, fresh and SPICY. Alas, like everything else in the US, these have gone downhill too. Very disappointing.

Lees gave me food poisoning! I got food from here last night. I got a spicy chicken thigh and a spicy chicken tender meal with green beans. My chicken tender meal had a large clump of hair in it. It was almost like someone cleaned out their hairbrush and threw it in my food. Also, one of the chicken tenders was wrapped in the hair. I was disgusted. My chicken thigh, which I started eating on the way home, was overly greasy and seemed to be undercooked. Four hours later, I began to experience nausea, bad stomach cramps, and the most severe diarrhea. I would not recommend eating at this location. This was a horrible experience, and to be sick three days before Christmas is the worst.

The food was good, as always. We usually get the 20 strip meal with sides. Good amount of food for the money. Last time we came through, we were disappointed, though. The issue was that the worker was eating while boxing up our food. This has to be some sort of violation. Workers should not be eating while they are handling food.

Friendly customer service here. We had the buffet around 5 p.m.. The chicken was good and fresh but the livers and gizzards had been sitting too long. They were dark and dry. The gizzards were too tough and chewy. Buffet items should all be fresh at dinner time. Everything was hot like it should be. I’d eat here again but next time if the livers and gizzards are dry I will ask for fresh made. I didn’t bother to ask this time. I thought maybe eventually they’d change them out before we left but they didn’t.
