Best fried chicken we’ve had for our first time in KY.
Location is good. It’s in a shopping enter that’s easy to get to.
Inside the restaurant, it’s a bit cramped where you have to order. That section had the drink fountain, condiments table, trash bins, and entrance to the restroom. It was really crowded.
Staff were very nice.
Menu was good. I loved that they actually had liver and gizzards as a combo meal. I love that!! I ordered that and it was so delicious. My husband ordered the number 1 and it was super moist. The breading could’ve been a bit better but the chicken was fried to perfection. Sides were absolutely delicious. Recommend the green beans. Biscuits are delicious as well. Sweet tea was also refreshing. No complaints on the recipe for sure. Awesome recipe!!

Table seating was adequate. They had more drive through than dine in so we had a good option as to where to sit.
Cleanliness definitely could’ve used a lot of love in the dining area.
Overall it’s a great place to find southern fried chicken for our first experience.

Oh where to begin, first off I’m only giving 1 star because I’m not able to give 0. I ordered some fresh large gizzards, they weren’t fresh or cooked correctly. They’re hard to chew and not fresh. Then the so called large I got was the size of a small!

On this particular visit, the chicken liver dinner (my wife’s favorite and primary reason we came) was not fresh. She said it was as if was prepared hours before and sat too long. She did return it to the counter to get a tender dinner as a replacement. Our grandson ordered a 3pc tender meal and got a 3pc chicken meal and he decide to keep it and eat it. The AC in the restaurant was FRIGID, but since we had ordered eat in and did not have jackets we decided to try an get thru this, as it would have taken too long to get boxes and load up the 5 family members to take out. We have not had this happen before. And in the future, we will probably stick to carry out.

We got there between 2:00 and 3:00 The staff super friendly and helpful, if it came out in a timely manner it was cooked properly it tasted again we dined in and the dining room needed some desperate attention it’s hard to find a clean table we did in fact clean our own The bathroom wasn’t too bad except right at the door was awful slick I almost fell I think next time we’ll just do drive-thru but overall wasn’t a bad experience

We used to go to Lees quite a bit but here in the last few months our order is always wrong and they are out of stuff on the menu. I have made several online orders to pick up lunches and have been missing half the order when I get back to work. We ordered four dinners tonight and when we got home two of the dinners were missing sides that I paid extra for and the biscuits looked like someone had smashed them in their hand and then put them in the boxes. They were in pieces and not edible. The chicken strips were cold not even warm. Had to heat up what we did get to eat. The food quality has really gone down the drain at this location. And I’ve been trying to call them for two days and their phone goes straight to a recording that says their mail box is full. With service and food like this, im sure they are tired of listening to the complaints.

2/28/25 Order 16pc I got all wings they did not ask they just put them in the box. Had to drive back 20 minutes to get food because no one would answer at 8pm and the voicemail is full. The service of the Lees has went way down in the past year. I go there because my parents want it or I would not waste my time or money because it has gotten that bad.

Picked up a family pack for dinner at home. Everything was good except for the chicken breast meat that was very tough. Have experienced this at other chicken places as well so probably not exclusive to Lee’s. Just wish these places would get away from the steroid

went to Lee’s tonight and I ordered a chicken sandwich that was so dry you can use it as a hockey puck, I also ordered two legs two thighs and all I got was four legs that look like they came off a baby chicken that was dried up in the Sahara desert the biscuit was so hard I could have knocked my dog out with it I think the only thing that was worth eating was the potato wedges and the green beans oh and by the way I ordered a piece of fish and got half a piece of fish.

Got there after they opened, the chicken sandwich I received was terrible, idk why but the bottom bun was soaked with sauce couldn’t even taste the chicken with how much was on it, I’ve gotten it plenty of times and was baffled the crappy service I got, idk if they were mad about a early order or what but the food was sub par to what it is normally

Sides barely half filled an not even enough gravy to drip/run when turned completely sideways. This is why KFC has more customers with poorer quality
