Our server was great and I really enjoyed our time with her!
The food was good but the plating was awful, I didn’t touch anything before taking this photo.
I’m aware they were somewhat busy but they didn’t even try. That’s not really that big of an issue though. Some vintage style restaurants the food tastes vintage, like you can tell they stay true to older recipes and cooking methods, this place however was just kinda a run of the mill restaurant other than the decor.
The bathrooms were very clean, as well as the tables. The decorations are very nice and the murals are quite detailed.
I also apologize, these are not the most flattering photos the inside is very pretty and bright, my phone just didn’t do it justice.

I used to like this place but I’m NEVER ordering to-go again. My family and I ordered what we thought would be a good meal but it turned out to be worst than fast food. $5 for 5 onion rings?!
My Patty Melt was a non existent melt as in the cheese that’s supposed to be there wasn’t! It was an onion burger without exaggeration. All the onions that were supposed to be in my onion rings order I guess ended up on my “burger”.

Sweet potato fries? Forget it, tasted absolutely flavorless to where I was shocked how something could lack that much flavor. The kids meal is $8.99 and we got 2 tenders with fries.. Readers can you understand why this is $8.99 based on the picture?
We would’ve been better off going to freakin McDonald’s or damned Wendy’s for what we got and the quality. When you pay higher prices you expect higher quality and you too would be pissed if you were hungry and got all this crap for almost $50.
Pretty much hate this place when I once really liked it, what a shame.

First time visit with family. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. The diner was full but didn’t wait long for a table for 6. As others entered, they did not wait very long.
We ordered from the lunch menu.
Our food was served hot and timely. Grillled fish was cooked perfectly with light seasoning, not blackened.
Red beans were delicious and creamy, not spicy. Crawfish etouffe was very good. Steamed vegetables were just right, not undercooked. Fried shrimp was done with a light batter. Yummy!
Menu is extensive for a diner. Will return again.

We ate at Lee’s for dinner tonight and had a great experience.

I ordered the Reuben with onion rings. The Reuben was good, but the onion rings were outstanding. They were hot, perfectly seasoned, and clearly homemade.

My husband ordered the seafood platter. It was piled high with fish, shrimp, hush puppies, and fries, all for $19. There was so much food we had to take part of it home. Next time we go, we are ordering one seafood platter and splitting it because there is easily enough for two people.

If you go, consider substituting onion rings for the fries. They are worth it.

A+ from us.

There’s a reason why every table and counter seat is taken at lunchtime. Consistently good comfort foods that taste like home cooked meals. Such friendly team members here. Is the cutest olde tyme diner setting. Multiple generations of my family have ate here for years.

Love the smothered roast beef sandwich in brown gravy, buffalo chicken wrap, burgers, hamburger steak. No matter what we order it has been tasty for take out or dine in.

Cutest little diner serving up some delicious eats! The salads are huge and so good! Fried pickles are delicious and so is the ranch! The blackened chicken pasta is great! My hubby loves the roast beef po boy! The kiddos love the burgers and spaghetti ! A family favorite of ours are the chocolate shakes! We love stopping in when we are in the area!

This isn’t my first time coming here. I was craving a morning burger, and this was the perfect place to get one.
I ordered it at the window, and my wait wasn’t long. It gave me a lunchroom burger vibe from school. I wasn’t a big fan of the ones in school, but in my junior and senior year of high school, I really learned to appreciate them!! It isn’t like the ones at those fancy modern-day burger joints, so don’t expect it! It’s just a good old-fashioned one with good flavor. The fries were hot and fresh, and the service was good!

We love eating here. My son goes to SLU and every time we come to Hammond, we make sure to stop at Lee’s. Great food, great service and great value. Highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert. Some of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Not sure what happened. Burger was just meh, ok. Friendly staff. At $28 with tip for a burger, onion rings and a coke, I just don’t get the hype. Took me a few weeks of going by just to see the place with a spot to park so obviously no shortage of takers.

Go back in time for your meal. This place is definitely worth it. We got the fried fish plate and fried shrimp plate came with salad, fry’s and hush puppies. We had so much left we had to bring it on home. The prices are amazing $14.99 which is well worth every penny. Our waitress was amazing kept on her toes making sure we had everything.
