This location does quite a bit of take-out business, but for the in-house diners, the restaurant interior needs a serious refresh… paint, windows treatments and seating. Spend a few minutes through-out the day to clean the finger prints (high & low)off the front glass door.
I also requested a special change; General Tso Shrimp, and they did their best to accommodate, and it was quite tasty…I’ll be requesting that again, just ask for “extra breading/extra crispy”, as he instructed me to for my next visit 😉
Service was a tad slow; saw one lady just leave because she said she was done waiting. Once we got served, staff was friendly and attentive. Just gotta be patient and not in a lunch-hour hurry
The staff was very helpful, and kind.
The atmosphere was lacking, and try not to use the restrooms if you can help it.
The food was… kind of meh. An odd taste in the chicken lo mein. The general tso was ok, not very spicy. The steamed rice was dried to a crisp, and the vegetables used as garnish were raw and cold. The egg rolls were all dough and cabbage, very little meat.
I wish I could give a better review. It seems like it’s a family operation. I want them to get better!
On our last EVER visit we were seated promptly and told our waitress would be right with us. They had one other couple at a table and a man in front awaiting his to go order. Our waitress was at a table folding napkins with utensils. Although she had a huge amount done she made us wait more than fifteen minutes! We were in plain sight of her.
We were ordering dinner for two special, our go to regular. In spite of my item being under the amount allowed she told me no, we won’t allow it. I politely showed her the menu prices and wording. Still refused. We asked for a manager. She said there wasn’t one. Someone in charge? No she said! We told her we would go somewhere else and never come back.
We’d never seen her before and we ate there two or three times a month. She was very young. She didn’t even say a word as we left.
Robert has given up on his business. Rest in peace chips an number ten sauce.
