This restaurant was a really fun small town vibe experience. Dan was amazing on the organ all evening and would honestly come just for the cold beers and hear him play. The tastee was okay, nothing special. Same with all the food we ordered. My friend got the sour cream apple pie and liked it! Food takes about 35 min, so be patient. The best part of this place is the atmosphere honestly. Feels like a time capsule.

Lee’s Chicken in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a classic spot that delivers a hearty, satisfying meal. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly complemented by their famously rich and creamy mac and cheese. Each bite is a nostalgic reminder of home-cooked goodness.

The side of corn is sweet and buttery, a simple yet delightful addition to the plate. Paired with an ice-cold soda, the meal is a comforting dive into classic American cuisine.

Lee’s Chicken has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a step back in time. The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall great dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Lee’s Chicken is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic comfort food.

Service was great, very friendly and food came out quick. Fried Chicken was bland but very well cooked, juicy and crunchy breading. Sides were basic but tasty. Very old restaurant. Onion rings are more like onion straws that came piled in a bowl, but they were good after we added a little salt. Overall, I would only go back if I was in a pinch to get done good quick.

Great old school Nebraska restaurant. Live entertainment and awesome staff. Chicken has great breading and flavor, but served with a little too much cooking oil.

I decided to come here with my friend since we always pass this place but never came. When we walked in, the atmosphere felt old school and just felt… natural? I think I’ll start off with the customer service. I seriously don’t think I’ve had better customer service in my life.. and I’ve eaten at a LOT of restaurants… lol. We began asking if they accepted Apple Pay (I believe the man was the manager) but he didn’t know they did so he said that they just accepted card. We were fine with that and said that we would be back in 3 minutes to get the card, but shockingly, he told us that we could just call the store later to make the payment?? We are strangers and he trusted us to just eat and call them later to pay. If that isn’t customer service, I don’t know what is. But we decided to just quickly get the card since it was no big deal and that’s what we began doing, and as we were starting to leave, he ran to call us over and apologetically informed us that they did accept tap to pay. So we went back in to pick our booths while he would kindly talk to us while making us feel at home. After that, we ordered our food and got it in about 10 minutes and began to eat. The food was VERY fresh and extremely hot. When I opened my chicken, it literally burst with juice and I just couldn’t wait for it to cool down and just dove right into it… there is so much more I want to say but I don’t have enough time. I 100% recommend this place and hope Keith Lee finds out about this place. (Wish u took more pics of the food but my stomach couldn’t wait)

Last 2 times I have eaten chicken here I got what looked like a chicken nugget with a bone in it. It, I believe was supposed to be 2 thighs but didn’t look like it. I know for a fact that the smallest thigh I have ever purchased in a store was as big as both of the pieces. Also, why does the online menu say spicy and at the restaurant it said mild. AND, why in the hell can’t you substitute a side with another side of equal value without paying extra? Is it because they would then have to separate the frozen Banquet meal in the back? Also, the pics of chicken on here are nowhere near what I was looking at, the pics look good.

Travel back in time to a quaint retro down home Chicken Restaurant like grandma’s. The flavor and crust of the cook to order chicken was not oily, and had tons of succulent moderately seasoned flavor.

It was pretty good, definitely not in its hay day anymore. I went on a Sunday after church and the restaurant was basically empty. The chicken was cooked perfectly, potatoes were boxed, and corn was tasty! Onion rings were very crispy, don’t expect them to be cut thick. But service was fast
