Leeann chin’s is my go to for a lot of my meals to the point I order 3-4 times a week minimum. I have frequented many of the locations on the west side of the cities throughout the past 10+ years and I will say this place has great staff but unfortunately the food has my entire family and myself sick every time we have eaten there (I’ve tried some highly interesting foods that would make most sick and still do but I never have food problems unless its heavily mishandled/mistreated) I recently moved to Golden Valley area but even when I lived 3 blocks from Knollwood for 2 years, I would go out of my way to the West End or Ridgedale location to ensure no illnesses, including bug or strange hair mishaps in the food. Needless to say I have recommended many other locations unless your looking to call out sick for 24 hours minimum.

Amari is killing it. He cooks the food perfectly, he has great customer service. While I set inside eating I watched him see the line grow and come from behind the back where he cooking at and bring the line all the way down, multitasking and getting the job done. I’ll be back. I told my mom I didnt like this location and I was gonna try it again. I’m happy I did. Great work Amari . ( probably spelled it wrong )

Whoever the 3 guys working December 18th are incredible human beings. I’ve been coming here for a while now and they always have an incredible attitude and are genuinely some of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Every single one of them deserves a raise and some appreciation. If I owned a business I’d offer all 3 of them a job position.

I ordered Tofu, brown rice, white rice, cream cheese puffs, and a drink off of the website to be delivered. my drink never arrived and both my rices came dry, I tried to brush both of those incidents off and just eat my tofu but my tofu wasn’t sauced and was extremely hard as well?? It’s like I was just given the scraps that was left over. this is disgusting. I paid almost 60$ for this and the delivery page isnt giving me an option to reach out to support to get my items refunded. this is ridiculous. I took pictures of the food as well. If there’s a way to reach out to get a refund on this I’d like to know

Knollwood’s Leeann Chin is the one I order from the most, for pickup, and the food is consistently good. I was really disappointed in the service yesterday, though. I placed an order online, and it was ready on time, no problem there. Whoever put my pretty simple order together was careless, though. I didn’t notice until I got home that I got what looked like a small order of soy green beans, not the large that I ordered and paid for, and the amount of beans seemed pretty skimpy even for a small. I ordered more than one entree and only got a single fortune cookie, and there were THIRTEEN PACKETS OF SOY SAUCE in the bag. Who needs THIRTEEN packets of soy sauce? One thing wouldn’t have been a big deal, but the three together diminished the enjoyment of the meal that I was also sharing with a family member. I hope I can get some store credit for the beans I overpaid for, and that staff will pay more attention to how they’re packing bags.

The Chin Dynasty with Fried Rice, Bourbon Chicken and Thai Curry Chicken was deeelicious!! The dishes succulently moist (and not dry as in a few other places I have been to), and the seasoning was perfect. The server was professional, efficient, and friendly. The restaurant was highly clean, including the restroom. I recommend this Leann Chin 100%.

I have had several wonderful interactions with the team at Leeann Chin in the Shops at knollwood off of Highway 7 in Hopkins! Each time, the employees have been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their consistent warmth and professionalism make every visit a pleasure, and it’s clear they take pride in providing exemplary service. Highly recommend stopping by—not just for the delicious food, but for the outstanding hospitality as well!
