I showed up 30 minutes before they closed and they were so kind and polite. Lemon chicken, fried rice, oyster wings.. still as delicious as it was 25 years ago. It was the end of the night so they ended up being extra generous with portions. I just love this place.

I’ve tried this location several times, it’s rare that I DONT have issues. There’s a man that seems to be a manager maybe owner, very aggressive, it’s very obvious that he hates his job and hates everything else in the world.
Today’s experience I have black flakes in both meals (orange chicken and lemon chicken), they had a strong smoke smell and our first and only bites tasted like smoke. It was completely inedible and went straight to the trash. I’ve given the Savage location so many chances, but this was the last straw.

I went to the Savage location with some friends to purchase a pint of tofu and a pint of green beans. As if she didn’t already like us, the lady was unpleasant and blurted out, “What do you two want?” My friend requested a pint of tofu, and as she saw the woman scooping the tofu, she noticed that one of the pieces of tofu had fallen between the metal dividers. She watched her pick it up and place it back into the pint. We find that to be highly disgusting and unsanitary because it has touched the metal divider. We ordered for a full because we didn’t realize that green beans come in half or full servings, but the server barely filled it to half and still charged us for a full. Since we didn’t want to make any trouble or risk her throwing something at us, we refrained from making a big deal out of it with her. She didn’t provide us or offer us the complimentary white rice, thus the $23 was ultimately not worth it. We are made more uncomfortable by the fact that she picked up the tofu that had fallen and put it back into our pint while doing it casually right in front of our faces. Please bring this up with your staff or management before a customer consuming chemical foods causes illness.

Love Leanne Chins, but this location gives you smaller portions than others, the quality of food you do get isn’t as good, and what’s more the staff treated us like we were an inconvenience. We will not be returning to this location.

Placed an online order, they replaced the white rice with brown, as they were out of white rice (an hour before they closed, should have made more,) they didn’t call to tell me they were out of rice and see if I still wanted my order. I wanted my money back and asked for it when I went to pick up my order. The worker said the manager could do that and wouldn’t be in until Sunday. I tried calling a couple times on Sunday, left a message for the manager to call me back (she was busy one of the times, and on break another,) but she never called me back. I just want my money back for the order I placed that wasn’t fullfilled.

Been coming to the same location for over a year now and have consistently had positive experiences with both Linda and Larry.
We have caught them at busy times, even sometimes close to closing time and still find them to be timely while also maintaining a friendly demeanor. Food is always good, place is clean.
We look forward to seeing them when we come in and always appreciate how friendly they are!

I have never been a person to write a review for a company, let alone a bad one, but… Got takeout from this location tonight and my gosh was it awful. Fried rice smelt almost like cigarette smoke, tasted awful. First bite, I got this nasty smoke smell and the taste wasn’t any better. Me and my wife threw $40 worth of food straight in the trash. Not sure if it was way over cooked, cooked in a very old/dirty pan or what. I cant believe it was served as it was.
Have been to this location many times and never have had an issue but this was disgusting.

I got my food through delivery, which was delicious, but a few hours later I woke up and got really bad food poisoning. I’m just concerned and don’t want somebody else to go through that.
