A warm place with great food! The WINGS are huge and so full of flavor! The Calzone crust is a unique flaky delight that wraps its precious cargo just right. Enjoy!

My dad and his wife wanted to take me and my wife out for my birthday, we had decided to meet up in Lynchburg and when he suggested a pizza place, I was surprised. Usually they stick to a ketogenic diet, but clearly this place stuck in his mind. I don’t frequent Lynchburg, and I was completely unfamiliar with this place, so any gem would’ve been a hidden gem to me, but I hope the locals are well aware of it.

The food was amazing. The main event is clearly the pizza, they have a thin crust unlike any I’ve had, not so thin as to be a crispy cracker, but something more akin to a phyllo dough I think. I thought I was going to share a big pizza with my dad and his wife, but she decided to go Hawaiian style and I had to get a personal sized pizza. My wife doesn’t like typical thin crusts and wasn’t adventurous about trying a new one, yet still had the calzones to choose from. While I anticipated no problems polishing the personal pizza off, it was apparently very filling, and I had to take a couple of pieces home, which in addition to halfish of my wife’s calzone made up my supper that night. The marinara they gave my wife to dip her calzone in was extremely chunky, something to watch out for if you have a picky eater.

I also had the soup of the day, a broccoli cheddar soup, my favorite type of soup, I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts. It had actual small chunks of broccoli in the soup, usually these are blended to oblivion, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the cheddar was too mild and I could decern the thickening agent flavor more than I should have.

We arrived shortly after the store opened, and they didn’t really get busy in the time we were there, but being a weekday, I wasn’t too surprised by that. The service we received was top notch.

We have been fans of Ledo’s since our children were very little. The kids used to watch a show called, “Higglytown Heroes” and one of the characters was called “Pizza Guy.” So for years and years we called Ledo’s “Pizza Guy’s.” For a while we were able to feed our family of 5 for $20 AND everyone loved the pizza! Throughout the years Ledo’s has consistently been the one place everyone agrees on when we’re trying to decide where to go to eat. Now the two oldest are in college and we can’t feed everyone for $20 anymore – and we no longer call it Pizza Guy’s – but it’s still our family’s favorite place to go, catch up, and just be together. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, the staff genuine, and the space big enough to accommodate large parties and cozy enough for a relaxing dinner before going home for the evening. I highly recommend Ledo’s to everyone, young and old and in-between. Thank you to Frank and his family and staff who have created a place that has been so significant and special in our family.

LOVE LEDOS!!! The sauce is a little sweet and a little spicy all at the same time! I lived in California for six years and couldn’t get Ledo’s out there and was so excited to move to Lynchburg and find out there was one here! Still some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! And the cookies they have at that location are exceptional!

Love the square cut of the rectangular thin crust pizza and the sauce is not overwhelming so as to make the pizza soggy but just right! And the service is incredible. The owner is at the front to greet you and he’s kind which creates a great work environment for his staff that spreads to the customer.

Every time I go to see my mom and sister, they say, “We’ll order ahead but please stop at Ledo’s!”

My husband and I just had dinner there. We both ordered the same thing. It was almost 10 minutes between the waitress bringing my food and bringing his. The soup was barely warm and the breadsticks could have used a few more minutes in the oven. My salad looked like yesterday’s left over lettuce and his looked fresh and green. His soup was only warm also. But his breadsticks did have a little more color to them. Have eaten there before and had pizza which was good. This trip though left me wondering if we’ll go back.

First time here. I ordered a mixed drink and the bartender advised she needed to text her manager as she is not sure how much to pour. After 10 minutes I switched to a beer since that could be done. The manager finally comes out of the office advising was investigating a party that someone had done bc they complained so much. Didn’t apologize for me not being able to have a drink or even offer to make one at all. We all know you make more in liquor than beer. The manager then proceeds to talk about someone else inquiring way too much about his intimate life. My server was extremely attentive and the food was good. Get this woman a freaking jigger and get better leadership… that guy should not be front of house.

The food is normally good. This time I asked for gluten free crust and received cauliflower crust. They provide both options however i asked for the gluten free crust because i dont prefer cauliflower crust. Placed a big to go order ended up with 2 cauliflower crust pizzas, not pleased at all.

I ordered a pizza for lunch pick up. It was cold and dry. Very disappointed! I normally love their food. Its always been excellent. No one at register. I had to go in the dining room to get bartender/waitress to hand me my pizza. I think what upset me most, it was my birthday and i used my birthday credit for something i couldn’t eat. So disappointed

We had a large group. Waitress did her best. Food was mediocre with bad tomatoes in the salads after they were told about them. It was just ok. Don’t think I need to return.
