It was a random choice but a good one after all. Prices caught my attention. 12-ish for 2 slices and a soda. I was hungry and this great. Portions are big, I couldn’t finish. The option I choose was a sweat pizza, not the best option and I didn’t ask for recommendations, I was super hungry. Owner was there, nice guy and staff was cool.

What a difference between September 2024 and January 2026. True to my word I wanted to provide an opportunity for redemption. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I let you decide if redemption was achieved. For me it appears that the NYC Ledo’s is in a path to redemption. It was my observation the franchise may have had major staffing turnover. Or staffing have been receiving quality control training. As was noted in my Hawaiian Pizza, I am not debating pineapple on pizza. When they first opened the ham was shaved. After about 1 years they changed the ham to ¼” square diced pieces. They are now back to using shaved ham as originally done. This detail may seem trivial but it actually is a perfect example of the importance of quality control. The pictures below are of half-baked pizza 2024 & 2026.

Went in tonight after reading all the great reviews and it did not disappoint best pizza we’ve ever had! We had a pepperoni slice and the meat lovers, we were lucky enough to try the original as well, they were all delicious. The service was faultless such a friendly guy and the atmosphere was chilled in such a hectic city. Definitely recommend good value for money with bottomless soft drinks included

Ledo’s NYC is really good! Pizza came out hot, fresh, and super quick. The crust is different from your typical New York slice, but that’s what makes it stand out.

Service was on point, staff was welcoming, and the whole place had a chill vibe. Not chaotic. Not touristy.

If you want the standard fold-and-go slice, cool. If you want something that actually leaves an impression, Ledo’s is worth it.

If you’re in NYC and craving pizza, Ledo Pizza is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome—warm smiles, attentive service, and that effortless hospitality that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.

The food? Outstanding. Their signature rectangular pizza is unlike anything else in the city. The crust is thin yet hearty with just the right crunch, the sauce is rich and flavorful with a perfect tang, and the cheese—melted in that signature Ledo style—pulls you back for another slice before you’ve even finished the first. Toppings are always fresh and generous without overpowering the balance of flavors.

Beyond the pizza, the menu surprises with delicious pastas, subs, and appetizers that feel just as carefully crafted. Every bite tastes like comfort with a touch of finesse.

The atmosphere strikes a sweet spot—casual, lively, and perfect for family dinners, date nights, or just hanging with friends. There’s an energy to the space that makes it feel both fun and relaxed, and you can tell everyone is there for the same reason: seriously good pizza.

In a city filled with iconic pizzerias, Ledo manages to stand out. Great service, unforgettable food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer—this place nails it all.

Ledo Pizza is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in New York. I went there twice, and both times the pizza was outstanding-fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made.

What really impressed me was the hospitality. During the blizzard emergency, they even gave me free pizza to take home. That level of generosity and care is rare. I’m not sure if Naz is the owner, but he was incredibly kind and welcoming. Great food and even better people. Highly recommended.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! The service was impeccable. The owner’s son warmly welcomed us and explained how this outpost of the storied Ledo’s pizza ended up in Manhattan. I grew up eating Ledo’s on visits to DC as a kid and it holds a very special place in my mom’s heart. I can attest that this pizza is just as good as the original!

What a great spot. The pizza has perfect thin crust and the atmosphere fun. The hosts were very accommodating for guests coming in but it’s best to make a reservation.
