Just Wow! Impressed with the puertorican food. Everything was delicious but i have to point out that the Rice and Gandules is the best ive tried in a restaurant. The lechon skin delicious and crispy, it could hold a little bit more seasoning but that is my personal preference. Now the Habichuelas!!! I always have an issue in 100% of the restaurant I have visited, including in the Island, commercial habichuelas tend to be flavorless and thick but, this is not the case!!! The best habichuelas Ive tested commercially. Great job guys and we will definitively come back for more!

Complete waste of money. I ordered arroz con gandules and lechón, and it was terrible. The rice had a weird, unpleasant taste like something was off, and the lechón was basically nothing but fat — hardly any actual meat. No flavor, no quality, no effort.
This place does not represent good Puerto Rican food at all. I absolutely would not recommend Lechonera El Jibarito to anyone. You’re better off saving your money and your appetite.
I’d gladly drive to Orlando and eat at El Sazón de Mi Viejo Lechonera, which is ten times better in taste, portions, and overall quality. Night and day difference.

This is what u get for $8 lunch some new lady makes the plate so light while others make u a real plate! This food is salty and completely not the topical PR food . I can go up the street to casitas and get a $5.99 plate with actual good food and seasoned to taste. I had bought pernil in the past and it was very dry and not shredded . I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant

I loved it as l walked in the aroma of pork hit my nose l think l entered heavens gates wow. Great Lechonera near Kissimmee. They do open super early and they had everything. Fried things like alcapurrias are done to order so that’s the only thing that takes a while to come out. The rice and peas/ arroz con gandules was delicious. The morcilla was a little spicy but it was fantastic. The pasteles were the best. The only thing I can say is that for my taste I felt the pork was a bit salty. Overall a solid spot With a nice family vibe.

They where HORRIBLE
NOW when I say horrible
To the point that the smell was horrid.
They where fried in the cheapest oil available, had absolutely no taste other than burnt cheap oil.
Before I paid I noticed a cooler with pasteles and was willing to give them a go,
Until I couldn’t get the nasty taste of my my mouth.
Consider yourself warned.
Just horrible.
Iam out 30$
The disrespect for such an amazing dish it’s outrageous.
If this wasn’t enough for you….
Go and waste your hard earned money just like I did

It’s has been a year since last time I was here. Health reason mainly. I was craving morcilla, I use to brag to everyone how they had the best. Well I don’t know what happened. I drove an hour to get food for me and my grown boys. Spend $65.
Drove back home and was do disappointed, it was a Sunday afternoon. The morcilla tasted like Castro oil smelled bad, my fiance normally eats anything well he was so mad.
The batata was dark also reheated and
the chicken was not fresh. Looked like it was reheated.
Omg the beans was watered down hardly no beans and the juice looked like soup ( watered down.) driving an hour there and back only to throw the food away. The chicken was given to the strays.
Never again.
I happen to stop up the street to the other location la Lechonera el yunque

A good Lechonera which reminds me of places back in Puerto Rico. The restaurant is setup sort of cafeteria style, where you order your food from a steam table and they package your food for takeout or you can eat in. The food is traditional Puerto Rican food and for the most part you know what you are getting. We got about 3 llbs. of lechón, some arroz con gandules, tostones and morcilla. The food was good.
