I’ve driven by this new location a few times, and my eye has been drawn to the colorful building. Today we decided to stop, not certain what to expect.

We entered to find a bright and open space with menu selections served cafeteria style. For a reasonable price you select a generous portion of different types of rice, numerous meat selections (several options of pork, chicken or beef) and your choice of sides. Being our first visit, the server pleasantly walked us each through our choices and served a LOT of food into the Styrofoam serving containers. The two of us dined for about $35 plus tip, including a can of Coke each.

My wife was impressed with her chicken in a white sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed my bone-in bbq pork ribs. We both had black beans in rice and cole slaw. The rice & beans were flavorful if a little dry. The slaw was tasty and better than average. The neat, however, was delicious!

After eating our full (neither of us could clean our plates) we agreed that we would definitely choose this again. I very much recommend you stop in and give it a try!

Food is hit or miss and seems better earlier in the day. The roast chicken, beans, and rice are flavorful and cooked well. The maduros and plantains are sometimes undercooked or not ripe enough. The jugos naturales taste old or slightly fermented. The flan de queso is good.

Portions are generous for the price.

There can be a language barrier for English speakers. The building has a noticeable odor, which affects the overall atmosphere.

Oh boy this is a new find for us! Recommend by family! Absolutely amazing Dominican food. We wanted to try everything. We definitely have to return. Only 30 minutes from the villages in Florida! It would help that buffet food had the name of the dish for some who may not know ingredient!

First time visiting and it will most likely be my last.

You get a lot of food, however the food was really greasy and under seasoned.

We got oven roasted chicken and it was sitting in a puddle of oil. The yellow rice tasted fishy which isn’t normal.

I believe they are new to the area as the restaurant looked like it was still under construction with ladders in the entrance. The other thing I think would have been nice is knowing how to order and how it worked upon arrival as mentioned it was our first time here and not only were we lost as to where the line started and what was included in a meal but the person behind the counter serving the food was rushing us.

I’ve been there a few times, the food is great but the customer service is not there. The staff is not friendly at all. I had an issue a few weeks ago after I ordered four meals to go and realized all my plantains were old and stale. I called the restaurant, the person who answered didn’t speak English. I asked to speak to the manager and she said no manager. My wife ordered food from there last night through door dash and half of our order was missing. Big disappointment again. I called right after it was delivered and the store was closed. Like I said, the food is good, but they need management. I can’t count on them.

Went yesterday (Dec. 23rd) and today. Dealt with the same young lady, with the same attitude, and simply not in the mood to work. Today we show up and the information given yesterday 2as not the same for today. To make things even better, a fresh dead cockroach on the ground, infront of the register. I asked for someone in management, and nobody was available. This place is clearly not being managed properly. This is being reported to the B.B.B and the state for sanitation purposes. By the way, the food that we decided not to take was placed back in the serving trays. Do not spend a penny in this place. There’s a spot down the street called La Jibarita, give them a shot.

UPDATE: I wonder why they have the pictures feature turned off? I have several pictures of the dead cockroaches. I’ll make sure the state dept. receives the pictures
