Anything gluten free gets my interest right off the bat. This place has so many amazing options for those allergies and they make them delicious. You have got to try the bone marrow, this stuff is so delicious and will keep me coming back time and time again. If you are gluten free, mention it and they do have gluten free bread to go along with it. The service was quick, I love a spot that brings food out the moment it’s ready instead of what was ordered first so we can begin our meal right off the bat. The cocktail was also quite good. We sat at the bar and was so mesmerizing to watch the bartender make individual drinks, one of my favorite parts along with their large fish tanks. The lighting in here is very calm and moody. It kept us wanting to eat in the space rather than taking it to go. I may even have my birthday party dinner here, it was so good! 10/10

We celebrated our anniversary at Lechon and had an amazing experience. The staff welcomed us with a handwritten anniversary card and two complimentary drinks, which made the night feel extra special.
We tried the gaucho bread, Hawaiian prawns, shrimp chaufa, shrimp & piquillo pepper empanadas, and Peruvian fried chicken bites—every dish was delicious. We ended with the chocolate mousse, which was a perfect finish.
Fantastic food, warm service, and thoughtful touches. Highly recommend.

We weren’t able to reserve online, but took our chance anyway. Luckily we only had a 5 min wait, but the party after us were told 5 hours. So reserve ahead!!
As we walked in the aquariums caught our eye. Jelly fish in a restaurant!! Nice vibe. Some patrons were dressed up while others were casually dressed.
The food… AMAZING! We started with the ceviche which was hands down the best I’ve had. Then ordered pepper cheese empanada, bone marrow, elotes, short ribs, and a while dish with cornbread on top. I HIGHLY recommend the marrow. It came with fresh bread and a chimi churi. My only regret was not ordering two! Everything was. Delicious and the service was friendly.

I was very impressed with the quality of food here. This is easily a 3 star in my eyes. We had several tapas such as Shrimp & brisket empanas, grilled octopus, bone marrow, chorizo potato rice and chicken bites.
We also had some yummy mixed drinks. It was absolutely amazing and the restaurant was so beautiful.
It was a tad more expensive than my normal dinner meals, but here it was so worth it. This place is definitely a place for a special occasion.

One of the best dining experiences I had. The service, atmosphere and food were all exceptional!
We had 6 courses and dessert. Ceviche, foraged mushrooms and chorizo were our favorite. Passion fruit dessert was great too! Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Amazing vegan options! (ask for the V/VG menu) Avocado Ceviche, plantain and black bean empanadas, Mushroom Saltado, side of gaucho bread. Creme Brulee. Passion fruit forward cocktail like the Mal Humorado is so refreshing. I’m impressed every time I come here. Sometimes a dish arrives late, but I forgive them because they are so nice and the food is worth waiting for. The vibe is dark, cozy, and relaxing for date night. Must make reservations, they get busy.

Food was insanely good, including dessert! We ordered the octopus, foraged mushrooms, shrimp ceviche, and duck breast. The chocolate cake was to die for.
Reservations are highly recommended because this place gets booked up fast. Street parking is limited, so arrive early.

The 4-5pm happy hour is the best fine dining experience in Portland and a lot of people know it! It was packed within the hour. The drinks were superb and our dishes were fantastic. The ahi tuna ceviche was incredible and the chimichurri burger was absolutely scrumptious medium rare. The grilled octopus was not happy hour priced but worth every penny, cooked too absolute perfection. The staff were friendly and the aquarium decor was delightful. This is as “affordable” as it gets for the quality that you get. Come soon before there is a line out the door!

Loved sitting at the bar, enjoying the great big fish tanks and great atmosphere. Sophia was an amazing server and drinks expert, a proud Oregonian who represented her city and state so well! The food was wonderful – tuna ceviche was very well balanced with clear flavours, pork tacos soft, tender and not dry. The foraged mushrooms were so very meaty and flavourful. I went with the dark chocolate mousse for dessert – it was firmer than expected, but it was more to do with the shape it was formed into. The dulce de leche and pineapple cream was a welcomed surprise, and the lemon curd cut the rich chocolate leaving the palate refreshed. Great highlight to my trip to Portland. Would eat there again- the menu items from the grill look amazing.
